Why doesn't those businesses just call a pallet yard to pick them up and get paid for their by product. And how do these places get rid of them b4 a middle man steps in.?
@JCharlesTheSimplestBiz4 жыл бұрын
William Eaton Pallet yard deal 99% in just one size pallet it’s called a standard 4840. Most companies have a variety of Pallets. They either haul them off to the dump which cost time and money or they have a dumpster they are incurring cost to have emptied several times a week. Both Very inefficient solutions

Companies are not in the pallet business. They create products. The pallets, drums, boxes, crates, dunnage etc are now something they don’t need. It’s in the way. Taking up space in their warehouses or outside of the dock. There is other businesses that actually need the bi products like pallets etc to ship or store their products. It’s simple.

Ok so in a nutshell, create relationships with local businesses, and see who needs to get rid of and who needs more of, pallets. Going to start tomorrow looking for local businesses that take in a lot of shipments. Have you tried Walmart? Or is my assumption that they have their own way of dealing with them correct? What I just dont understand is why they dont hire a guy for that specific reason? Its just a truck to transport, why dont they make the money themselves?

Walmart is not who you should be dealing with. You should be dealing with smaller companies that go through pallets like water. People could cut out the middleman for plenty of things like a haircut, a sandwich, their grass cut etc. these services are welcomed and appreciated. well this applies to our business as well. If anyone has legitimate questions about the pallet business can HMU on IG. Name below Yusef_inc

My only concern about sustainability with this business model is it sounds simple to cut out the middleman and profitable for lowering of the overhead and adding revenue to the bottom line for the company to simply cut out the middle man 🤔
@JCharlesTheSimplestBiz4 жыл бұрын
I’ve been at it 22 years - many of the same customers for 15 years +
@horsemumbler14 жыл бұрын
If you cut out the middleman, you either have to do it all yourself, or pay your own guy to be the new middle man. Either way, you increase overhead by expending more time and money and labour, cutting into the bottom line; that's why there are middlemen.
