In this video, I am setting up the newest addition to my dragon valley to allow me to grow dragon fruit cuttings a lot faster! I found a greenhouse on TEMU and the price was really cheap so I had to pull the trigger and get one. I've always wanted to greenhouse and what better way than to start off with a decent size to get my experiment going. I'm excited to see how my dragon fruit cuttings will do in the greenhouse. This will be my first time using a greenhouse and I cannot wait to see the results.

Make sure that the green house is staked down well, so that the fall/winter winds don't make a disaster. I'd suggest 24 inch rebar stakes.

Santa Ana's are coming soon good idea on staking down the new green like the other person mentioned, bugs and slugs will still find a way in thru underneath the greenhouse due to the dirt floor, it is a sweet unit....Rick

Be careful polycarbonate GH will get hot mine has hit 110-115 on a 80deg day full sun with the windows open and door open. And I also 2x layers of 40% shade cloth on the roof for spring summer fall. I ve added a exhaust fan and box fan to draw cool air in. I mainly used mine to keep flowers n veggies alive last winter with a few heaters. Hoop house this winter to keep my dragons alive 🙏

Thanks for the tip! Will definitely be monitoring it closely with the new experiment. Luckily, it's in partial shade for most of the day so I think i'll be able to avoid too high of temperature. What area do you live in?

@@GraftingDragonFruit I’m in Northeastern PA yes didn’t know better when I placed mine in full sun. Paul from rare dragon fruit has a couple hot house that he does his cuttings in aswell.

Not at all. Check out my dragon fruit tasting reviews. If yours were bland, they were probably store bought which is often picked earlier than peak ripeness. The fruits don't continue to ripe once picked
