How I Made $68,000 in ONE MONTH (my strategy)

In the month of January, I made a gross profit of $68,000.
I only traded 13 days - the most important take away from this month was cutting my losers when I am incorrect ASAP and letting the winners take care of those small cuts.
Not the best in terms of win rate but I’d sacrifice low win rate for high R:R all the time.
Majority of my trades came from scalping. Looking to capitalize on short term orderflow events around my key levels. When trading this way, I have a predetermined stop loss and target in mind which enables proper risk to reward ratios. By implementing this risk management system, there are some trades which take too long to move in my direction by hanging out / accepting value at specific prices which I know due to this may mean that my entry was poorly timed. So, instead of holding for a ~3 point loss to my stop loss, I rather cut the bad position early before stop loss triggers with the thought of RE ENTERING at some point in the near future offering better confirmations and even better risk to reward.

Have been in Carmine’s community for a while. He’s been very vocal when he has been having a rough week and feels frustrated. However, I have never seen him stay down mentally. It’s why he is able to consistently profit month after month. Carmine teaches you how to find your style of trading, not his. He also emphasizes a healthy mind outside of trading, which I think is very underrated. You don’t realize the mental aptitude it takes to put yourself in the hot seat and trade like a business.

In trading, possessing technical analysis skills is not sufficient on its own; discipline and emotional maturity play crucial roles in achieving success. Embracing the mindset of "time in the market vs. timing the market" proves valuable, especially during market fluctuations. I attribute my growing daily earnings to Flora Elkin's valuable insights and daily trade signals, coupled with my commitment to continuous learning, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!

This is also my preferred method of trading. I will usually scalp with 1 or 2 contracts depending on the price action and the level, il then scale in if the move starts going in my favor. Also moving up my stop loss as soon as I start seeing momentum in the trade. This has helped me massively increase my R/R. Thanks again Carmine you’re one of the OGs that has attributed to my success in trading. Ready for what this upcoming week has to offer 🤙🏽

Exploring the high-stakes world of day trading reveals a blend of risk and reward, where strategic leverage plays and timing during market fluctuations can lead to significant gains from minimal investments. This approach emphasizes the necessity of careful risk management, including setting stop losses and technical analysis, to navigate the volatile markets effectively.....managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 💲432k in the space of a few months... Where I get stuck is in order to have solid RR, it requires 1 of the 2 things. Either you tighten stops and keep targets the same. Or, you loosen stops and lengthen your targets. Tighter stops have a higher chance of tag outs from market noise. And longer targets have less odds of getting hit. Both of these two results will massively affect win rate. - lastly, if your planned RR is 3 to 1, but let’s say you just so happen to get a good entry early. Do you still take profit when up 3r which is shy of your target because you got in early. Or do you still take it to your target for a hopeful larger gain.

Hey there! I would like to have your thoughts on something. In the past, I used to struggle with cutting my losses. However, lately, I've been improving at it. But, whenever I cut my losses and realize that the market is moving in the opposite direction, I don't let myself re-enter it. I'm not sure if I should be doing this. I've always stuck to one trade per day, and I prefer it that way. I'm still a new trader, and I've only been on a live account for a year now, but I'm currently at the break-even stage.

What size account are you trading to generate these returns? In the video, you show some sizable profits and minimal losses which is great. But, how much do you risk as a percentage of your account per trade?

This would help a lot! Could you show your trades on the 5 minute time frame by chance? For myself anything under the 5 is too noise so it would help with seeing your stop placement and where they are at in correlation to the 5minute candles? Lastly, do you cover to break even once up a certain RR? Ex- you are up 1r you lift stop to break even, or is every trade based on your gut and what you see?

yes however i do not use time based candles to make trading decisions. All my trades are taken based off the tape. but i agree in regards to seeing stop/target visual. i have a rule 7/8 pts on ES, i try to not let that trade go red on me. i'd say thats usually 2:1 or 3:1 RR

@@carmine_rosatoI appreciate the advise! I personally scaled off when up 1.8:1 because most of targets are around 2:1. I have run into a pickle though where if I find a good entry early that would make that same trade 3:1. If I should still scale out based on pre entry planned risk or if I should scale my 1.8:1 off based on my real entry price risk? I see each trade in other words as two potentially different R multiples. There’s the pre-entry planned R multiple and then the actual R multiple on average fill price, and I’m conflicted on which one to use.
