You can even change the settings to allow active sims to choose meals from the menu, or keep it to act similarly to the TS3 Bistro, whereby their order is random. I do wonder if they have fixed it so children can also order from the menu yet, if you know?

@@acottonsock From the Documentation Notes of NRaas version of Ani's mod: "Toggle Random Food: (True/False) A global setting. If true, a sim will always be served a random meal. If false, the active sim will be able to choose their meal." There are also other settings that can be toggled too. 👍

It's a cool mod, but I found throughout the years, it's not worth the hustle of setting it up. It's easier to just put a food synthesizer on a community lot and it will spawn waiters and set an appropriate menu. I'd only use the Business as Usual Bistro for a FANCY restaurant, but for more casual ones, it's the food synthesizer or even the World Adventures food cash register are just easier and better.

For some reason this mod acts up for me. Like i have to go every so often and re-download it because the stove that comes with it keeps disappearing out of the catalog. This has been happening for years.

Seems like you need a lot of Nrass mods to run this, not just the store content mod.Is there a full list?

Fun thing about this method is it can be any type of (public) lot you want! Cafe, restaurant, park, as long as you assign waiters and chefs, and put the correct menus and oven, Sims will dine there.

Hi! I am having a big problem with my world packs, like Hidden Springs, Monte Vista, Dragon Valley etc. Ive bought all these multiple times because I want them to work so badly but they don't. I can download them in the sims launcher and it says that its installed but then when I press play and the game starts theyre gone. Nothing works, I've tried sooo much but I'm so confused and it makes me so sad and angry because I love the sims 3 but not when its acting like this. I miss my worlds and want a working game. Please help me if you can, I am very much desperate.

The EA vanilla is alright, a bit lacking in features and depth like trying to organize a dinner with multiple sims require so much individual clicking for each sim. BUT the worst part is the fricking chef quitting his job every day …
