fantastic video! only suggestion is to lower the music volume during speaking portions, the voices were way quieter in comparison. great filming and b roll otherwise though :)

@@TheMajimeChronicles Heya, just recently stumbled across your channel and really like your style of editing, chapters and all. You've now reduced the video down to the very core (in my opinion) and 9 minutes. Just know this: We (the people loving this kind of content) would love a little more in depth vids, and would always easily watch 20-30 minute episodes on the regular. Tip: Throw in a super detailed "full build" vid in every now and then, that's about an hour long. Pro tip: List your videos in the category 'educational', the KZbin algorythm will recommend your vids more often to others. Good luck on your journey, I'll tag along 🙂

Hey man, it seems you're just about starting a youtube channel and I've gotten your second video about the sushi knife in my reccomendations first. Watched it and it was extremely high quality, both the content and the video quality. I don't think I noticed this on your second one but in this one the volume of your speaking is quite low in contrast to the music at for example 2:30 (where I'm at rn). Saying this to help, not to flame, I am appalled at the quality what you've put out and I don't think I've ever subbed to a channel with only 2 real videos posted. I'm starting to suspect you might've done this before with maybe another channel or had some help from an already established youtuber xd? Anyway, amazing content!! much love.

Cool looking knife. I’m worried about the handle not wrapping around the trailing edge of the blade though like her old one. Looks like there would be a hot spot on her middle finger where she could wear a blister.
@Niksow5 ай бұрын
I have a question, you look like an amazing knife maker with all the tools and experience. How come you tossed the first blade ? Can’t you straighten a warp? Now let me just add, that it was an amazing video well cut together but yes like others said, more depths to the process!! Anyways thanks for taking your time to give us this🎉❤
@TheMajimeChronicles5 ай бұрын
Alright so great question, yes I could have gone through the cycle of annealing and doing it all over again. And the chance of it warping could have potentially been fixed. So after the second successful attempt I actually figured out that the reason why I had the first warp was because I turned the blade and clamped. In that split second the tang, because it was malleable and the steel was heavy it bent and I want fast enough. So now I took the okay quenches and set them up vertically to never have the issue again. But that simple answer to your question… ya I could have 😅

@NeverBetter235 ай бұрын
Video is a great start, i have some thoughts to make the next even better! The interview was great, but using some B-roll and showing things about the knife that is currently in use and what you might do to improve on it would be a great way to show how you intend to design your version. It doesnt need to get technical, a simple breakdown would do. A little more on the process itself in general, it felt like we went from stock material to finished knife pretty swiftly. Doesn't need to be complex or anything, this is a show more about challenge and entertainment value after all and not the process, but it felt a bit fast (in my opinion) Music and voice mixing could be a bit better. The muic overall seems generally louder than your voice, I found it kinda hard to decipher the sound of your voice during sections with music overlayed at times. Overall great! Keep working on this!
@TheMajimeChronicles5 ай бұрын
My dude your insight is GOLD. So being as my first video… definitely trying to figure out tempo. Audio was a fail but after taking some lessons I got it down in the second episode! But I agree entirely, figuring out the pace is important. I think the end goal is to focus more on the chef
