5:09. Was this on the older version of UE? Would the new auto-retargeter in 5.4 have helped here?

yup, this was on UE 5.3, the new auto-retargeter would have helped me a lot that's for sure, I will be using 5.4 and its new tools for my later projects !

Hey can you do a tutorial on getting cascadeur animations to metahuman?

This tutorial : kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2G7h2WNq9aoldE&ab_channel=AronNemeth But use the Unreal Mannequin template, then export to fbx once you're done in cascadeur, drag and drop in UE but click your metahuman's skeleton when you're importing in the pop up window that shows up and tadaaaa

Hey, is previz is 3d animation's storyboarding?

storyboarding is both for 2d and 3d, previz is basically an extra step afterwards where you make a rough plan in 3d using the 2d storyboard, with correct shot timings, camera movements and rough animations/lightings/vfx/cfx etc. Its an advanced 3d animatic

Storyboarding is for 2d animation but 3d many 3d animators can't draw well so how can they animate without storyboard or someone can make previz without need to know how to draw

3d film productions also use storyboards. Previz is a step just after storyboards to make them in 3d basically, with clean cameras and rough animations/fx/layouts. You don't really need to know how to draw for previz but its always a good skill to have :) A previz or animatic gives film directors an even better idea of how their film is going to look like and is also a crucial step in 3d film production so that all studios and artists know what is in each shot in terms of animation, lighting, vfx, cfx etc :)
