Imagine doing all that work just for it to go up in flames when a damn fire keese rams into you. Seriously tho, that shield looks awesome.

Ahh a chisel... Why didnt i think of that. Mine wont be quite as functional as its going to be made from a piece of bark that miraculously broke off in a deku shield shape while i was chainsawing logs. Just gonna use table top epoxy to solidify it. Its one in a million.. Seemed like a sign from wise owl.

Looks amazing. What kind of tree did you Get the bark from? And are you going to seal it with anything?
@KyleMerriman3 жыл бұрын
The bark is from a piece of Douglas Fir. I've always felt like the Deku Tree was a giant oak, but those are hard to come by in Western Canada. I decided against any kind of finish because I wanted it to look as natural as possible, but as it ages I might reconsider that if it starts to fade and lose its colour.
@Tazerboy_102 жыл бұрын
I see most props made of foam or whatnot, but not with an actual piece of wood... > I mean with props you want to keep it light weight, so that if you're going to be hanging out a convention; You aren't over encumbered... 1:53 - 1:55 ---> No one is trying to force it on you... (Tri and force it)

Have you tested the shield against a guardian laser yet? also what is it's surfing capabilities?
@KyleMerriman3 жыл бұрын
Surfing 10/10 if you have little Kokiri sized feet. Modern science tells us that laser beams are nothing more than long, skinny fire, so I wouldn't recommend it.
