That's SO impressive!!! 🤩 On a whim I opened Tiktok shop last summer, as a way to clear out inventory I was no longer selling (I switched from selling physical products to going fully digital). I ended up selling thousands of stickers in one weekend, which was such a relief!! I had maybe 4.5k followers when I started, so I had a small tiktok following and it still did really well!!

@@LifeIsbeautiful0009 yeah, I used to sell physical products like stickers, cards, etc. But I stopped selling physical products and now I'm fully digital meaning I sell digital products like SVGs, printables, etc. I also freelance and do other things remotely, but no longer carrying inventory! 🙂

Hi Mary! TikTok has actually shortened the window even more - now sellers have to ship every order within 48 hours. As for the process - I know some sellers send products to TikTok for it to fulfill the orders. At EBD, we fulfill them all ourselves because we already have the system and staff in place to do so.

What do you mean by “tagging” your product? Do you mean adding the product? What is the name of your TikTok shop? You didn’t run any TikTok ads? What about hashtags? Did you use viral music? How many followers do you have?

I need help opening a TikTok shop. I installed the app on My Shopify account and my phone, but I can't link them. I tried to get support but have yet to get help. So, you can link your Shopify to the app on your phone or open a business account over the phone. What is the other way if we can't link the accounts? Is there a way to open a shop just by using the phone? I really couldn't understand the system since I couldn't link the accounts and not getting a response from TikTok support

My business had already crossed the million dollar mark by the time TikTok Shop was created, if that gives you some idea. I started it on Etsy and then created my own Shopify website to sell. For many years my own only marketing was on social media - meaning free! It's a huge asset if you can dedicate the time to it.

We pack all of the orders ourselves in our warehouse. TikTok Shop also offers an option where they will pack the orders, but since I already have the system in place, we just pack them ourselves.

So that can be difficult because TikTok Shop requires sellers to fulfill every order within 48 hours of them being placed. If you are able to have a pre-made stock available, then it should work!

You can actually tag specific products in your video when you go to post it. If you look at videos on my channel, almost all of them have a product in the bottom right corner. It helps people purchase what they are seeing in the video!

How are you currently advertising and marketing your shop online? if you dont build an audience or following, you wont be seen online, also did you know, that you can advertise your online shop, for Totally free on the GOOGLE MARKET PLACE, and appear in online google searches, by putting your website links on there to your listings, I will be doing this, I'm using my new KZbin Channel to advertise and create a following to the website links of my shops underneath my KZbin Channel, which is also free and will direct people to my shops and my profiles online, including TikTok, its a good idea, also you can look into how to use LinkTree to get people to your website platform Links. There is not a limit to open a shop! You do need at least 5,000 followers if you want to be an affiliate who can promote products for commission though

Also, you mentioned you had a call with TikTok to see how this all worked I would love to speak with somebody directly from TikTok as well because I’ve had my shop open on there for about six months and I haven’t gotten one sale. How do I contact somebody at TikTok? I’ve posted so many videos and I can’t get more than 200 views I’m beginning to think it’s all a scam. I watch videos like yours and everybody seems to gatekeep which leads me to believe these videos are not true. If I made the sales you made, and was honestly and truly wanting to help everyone else out there, I would give step-by-step instructions and include all pertinent information not just little dribs and drabs, because What’s the point of these videos?

I’m no TikTok expert but I noticed that the time you post it really matters. One video posted in the morning, maybe 100 views. Tried posting at 7pm, got over 2,000 views. Also try copying the style of videos of people who are successful.

Hi there. I wish I could tell you how to contact someone at TikTok, but they reached out to me. I have more than half a million followers, so that may be why. To answer your other questions, I do use hashtags that are pertinent to the content I post. I have never run any TikTok ads before, but I do have a really awesome customer base that has followed along and grown as I've grown my business. They've been incredibly supportive and I'm so grateful!!
