Freshly washed, vacuumed, clean windows and tire dressing would be a must for a 5 star review. I am ok paying more for quality service.

I just got my first 4* rating in one of my cars (I'm still pretty new at Turo and only have 60 something trips). The guest left no info with the review and never responded when I asked what I could have done to earn a 5.

I had my first 1 star review on my 22 Corvette because I wouldn't let their 17yr old kid drive the car. The kid begged me after I caught him and alerted Turo that my guests kid is actively driving my car. (I had video evidence) He kept saying 'but I have my license' I even had it in a text. So the mother (person on the account) gave me a 1 star review. I contacted Turo support and sent all my evidence and they refused to remove the 1 star review even though they broke a major policy. So I contested it again and they said they aren't breaking any guidelines as far as the reviews were concerned. My stance was, they broke a policy that ended their trip (Turo ended it) and they shouldn't be allowed to rate at all. Long story longer... I appealed 3 times and the 3rd time Turo made the rating final and the 1 star stuck.

We have a message that we send out at the start of the trip indicating we are here to provide a 5 Star experience and ask the guest to let us know if there is any issues so that we can help fix the matter right away. We then have another message that we send at the end of each trip requesting a 5 Star rating and a review. Unfortunately, we had a guest leave a 4 Star rating recently without a review before our end of the trip message went out. We reached out to the guest to see how we could have made the experience better to receive a 5 Star rating and so that we could earn his repeat business in the future. He responded back saying that he was walking when he left the rating and accidentally pressed 4 instead of 5 Star. When we called Turo customer service, they said there was nothing they could do to either change the rating or to remove it. Turo only removes ratings based on very specific criteria. Also, since the guest did not leave a review, we could not even respond back to it indicating this rating was left in error. A response to only a rating is not allowed. We had a perfect 5 Star rating prior to this rating with about 150 trips so we are very bummed about it. Any recommendations (tips/tricks) on how we could fix this rating issue?

Wanted to see what ya’ll would do. Got text from cust that check engine light came on. Told him could be dangerous for him and we needed to pickup the car. Had no substitute, & bal of rental was 1/2 day . Therefore no sub for him. Told us that was unhappy because had things to do. Gave us a 3 star. What would you do to avoid?

Yea my rating went down due to my eco cars even though I put in the details that these cars are not perfect. Some guests even though they are eco cars want new cars at a cheap price lol. I give out free phone holders in the car and one broke and we got 4 stars lol

Not getting jailed from renting a Hertz car would make me give most other car rental businesses a 5 star rating ;) Thanks for your vids and sharing, great channel. Love the lack of super hip and edgy obnoxious intros. Do people really get destabilized and fretful about faded paint? LOL, im a bit surprised, but not really actually. Maybe theyre using the car for selfies. Stay gold.
