Sorry to clickbait y'all like that, but I think everyone on this platform deserves a reminder that you should love what you do here, and it shouldn't just be about money. Love you guys! ❤

Call me crazy, but I thought this was well played and compelling storytelling. It made a strong point that is worth making. There is so much content out there and this was a clever way to draw people in.

Thank you! I do hope it draws some people in and makes them think about it. People should create for the passion of creating. And if monetization follows, absolutely great for them! But, in my opinion, it shouldn't play a massive role in WHY they create.

I like your integrity, humor, and storytelling first of all. I agree with what you’re saying and am here to support you and tell you that it pays off. I’m an artist (painter). I’ve been at it a long time and am just starting to have some success in the outside world after 10 years of retail (though with your talent and mindset it might not take you that long!). I always said to myself that I wanted the money to follow the vision, not the vision to follow the money. I had a lot of outside pressure to compromise and didn’t. Eventually those who pressured me became my biggest supporters. The world needs more authenticity and integrity from those who create its culture and I’m confident you can help pave the way for others! Know that I’m a random person from the internet (😂) who believes in you and it’s so reassuring for me to see there are people like you out there!

Glad to hear that your passion for art and painting is paying off!! I think you are right, there's a lot of pressure for us 'creatives' of the world to compromise doing what we love for what is practical and 'normal'. But, life is much too short to not do what you love. We're all going to die soon. I'm only 21, and I bargain I only have about 60 or 70 years left before I die. I've lived maybe a quarter of my life already, and all the money I'd have made will be worth nothing, everything I own forgotten about, but what will still live on is the art that I create, the videos that will live much longer lives than I'll ever know. I try my best to be authentic and genuine and have integrity because life is just too short not to. I appreciate your kind words and your support. Sometimes, it does feel like no one really watches or really SEES my videos, but a comment like this can change the trajectory of my entire day. Thank you so much. ❤

something's not adding up because how was i only making ~$700 biweekly at $14/hr...
@nindoninshu2 ай бұрын
or maybe you worked more days, I did three 12 hour shifts a week
@k.mae.k2 ай бұрын
I am NOT good at math by any means.... that said, here is my math: My schedule: $13.50/hr × 7.5hr shift: $101.25 a day (I work 2 days a week at this job and get paid bi-weekly): $101.25/day × 4days/bi-weekly = $405 paycheck every two weeks. If you're making $14/hr × 12/hr shift = $168/day $168/day × 3 days/week = 504/wk 504/wk × 2weeks = 1008 bi-weekly. We should also consider that the more money someone makes, the more taxes are taken out of each paycheck. Not sure how that rule works though, so I'll use what I know:, I was told that if I'm calculating taxes, to take 30% off. So, 30% of my $405 bi-weekly paycheck is $121.5 that should be taken out. I'm not sure that is reflected in my paychecks, however. So, you're definitely right, something isn't adding up on my end, lol. I gotta look into that 😬 But, the numbers I used for the video are accurate, hence my very ~deceiving~ title "how I make $100 a day with 50 subscribers" For you, 30% of $1008 is $302.4 $1008 - $302.4 (taxes) = $705.6 per paycheck bi-weekly. Looks like the math does add up ok on your end, so you should be good to go! Have a great day!

keep it up, meanwhile me want my channel to get monetize so bad

If you love what you do and you keep having fun doing it, I'm sure the right audience will come along eventually and help you along the monetization process. Not that I have ANY experience in the matter as a beginner myself, but I think if you focus a lot on the content you put out and forget monetization even exists, time might fly by a little quicker!! Who knows, you could be monetized before you know it!

Nice video. Keep going. I think I can help you with the editing. So hit me up when you are ready.

Editing is definitely one of the harder parts of the video production process! There is absolutely a learning curve, but I am having a blast learning. In all honesty, editing and figuring out my own editing style is MORE FUN than filming the video itself. I would love some editing tips and what not at some point though! Maybe later in my KZbin career as I'm really loving figuring it all out on my own. Thanks for the support and for offering your help. I really appreciate it ❤
