Thank you for your great instruction. How much longer do you have to make the cords i.e. I have used 90cm for a single string but plaiting must shorten the necklace.
@CampbellCarving11 ай бұрын
Yes, correct. I usually use three strands of about 1m for a full necklace and make an adjustable sliding knot.

Hey bro, love your work! 🙏🏼How do you make a loop in one end if you have a toggle of some sort at the other end to make an attachment?

Two ways here is one with a whipping. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJTEc6mpj7iSnqM

The second i need to do a full video but basically uses the technique in this video, you need to plait a bit for the loop then plait double steanded for a bit then chop off the extra threads.

hello fulla, like you videos, i do Bone carving, quick question, what do you prefer for your carvings, the 3 braid or the 4 round braid?
@CampbellCarving6 ай бұрын
I prefer the 4 Braid as it doesn't twist, but is takes a longer to do, unless you buy it.

Hey brother, thanks for the video! I was wondering if you could help me out with something though. If I wanted to attach a little clasp to the ends of both sides of the braid, how would i do that?
@CampbellCarving2 жыл бұрын
You could try making loops like in my whipping video or sliding adjustable knots. See if you can find them.

What is the length of the all the 3 cord you have used Sir . Please let me know.
@CampbellCarving Жыл бұрын

It’s help so much! but it was a bit confusing for me since I’m only using 1 colour
@CampbellCarving9 ай бұрын
It is harder with one colour. Can help to learn and practice with different ones if possible.

Is nylon cord better than cotton cord? What's the best cord to use?
@CampbellCarving2 жыл бұрын
I use 1mm waxed polyester. Wax makes lashing and stuff much easier and more permanent. Cotton would prob not last as long but be nicer to wear if your prefer it.

How do you get the braid so tight?

Keeping the tension on all the strings and practice, I guess.
