I just tell them, "I've drawn nearly everyday for the past 10 years. Did you do the same? No? Maybe that's why :)" They sure shut up fast after realizing how insulting their words are haha

Tip: don’t get adobe animate. 1. Horrible brushes, although I believe you can still make your own limited brushes. 2. Really, REALLY expensive. As it is a subscription, it will cost you about 240$usd a year. Really look into other programs. Toon boom harmony essentials is pretty nice and cheaper. About 400usd for a lifetime. Or TVPaint, personally my favorite. I own pro as I got it for 400usd for a student discount.

They most likely didn’t and just cut that part because coloring takes a long time. Just color like normally I don’t think you can just duplicate everything.

Yeah he didnt actually color it with one click. Simply cut the video since you dont really have to watch them color it to understand. However, thats why they say to do the lineart carefully so that you can spend most of your time filling the lineart since all lines are closed. If not you have to spend your time manually painting the colors and finding the holes I think.

You can do that on CPS with just a few clicks ; Step 1: Chose the area and layer where you want your linearts to get changed. Step 2: Got to "Edit" and click on "change the color" It's as simple as that, I think you can do it with most drawing softwares I suppose ?

it's completely fine if you don't have those expensive drawing tablets or fancy drawing softwares, you can still start today! I use a free drawing software called Krita. it's quite similar to Photoshop except it's free. you can both illustrate and animate in it. maybe you could also try flipbooks

From what iv learned so far, story boarding is VERY important. Something may look good in your head but it may not look so good in video. So its important to test these things out.

I once join a project that using toon boom too and color it one by one :" even the shadow (its going backward forward and check every frame), your video made the shadow being multiplyed in after effect and its a nice shortcut. i learn so much! :D

Everyone is saying they're very talented but remember that that's half the battle. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Look at every little detail they add here. Saving backup files too? Seamless, they got their routine down and they work their butts off at bringing their animations to life. So don't you just chalk all this up to talent and ignore how much work they do and how much effort is put into these types of things.

Remember how Makoto Shinkai made Voices of a Distant Star when this technology never existed, before he became famous? This guy is heading in that direction. Makoto Shinkai and Hayao Miyazaki are the only 2 animators I idolize, I'd love to see who becomes the next animator to join the list :)

Your animations are visually spectacular and it's on par with Ufotable. With how many people do you work with or did you create it on your own (sorry I'm new to this channel) If you created these animations alone then major respect.
