How I Make Bookmarks for my Etsy Shop

In today's video I show you my entire process of making bookmarks to sell in my online shop, from formatting, to printing, and cutting. I also use a folder to create a storage system for the finished bookmarks!

I think it would be a good idea to invest in a laminator to reinforce and make the book marks a bit more waterproof. I know a few makers do this and it also helps them to look just a smidge nice quality as well!

Thanks for the tutorial, especially on lining up the designs in procreate. I’ve thought that after flipping the canvas around and turning it upside down, instead of keeping a separate file with all your words on it, maybe you could also try selecting the the selection tool each bookmark individually, and then do another sideways flip? That way they stay on the right side of the paper but the words are not rotated. I also picked up a laminator, are you going to try laminating your bookmarks? If so what machine would you want to use?

Beautiful Bookmarks. Have you thought about getting a punch rounder? Local craft store might have them. I got mine from Hobby lobby and I use it for sticker sheets.

Hey! I have my canvas actually set to 2x7 inches, and I just totally jack up the DPI to as high as I can get without sacrificing too many layers :)

I have a question for you! I'm a beginner in Procreate but have been submitting designs to Redbubble for a while now. I literally just realized today that there are two different color profiles (RGB and CMYK). All my designs have been done in RGB this whole time! Eeekk! You explaining your different print settings made me realize this today. Can I ask what setting you have been using when you print your items? I just hope I haven't been making a big mistake this whole time! Looking forward to your insight!

So I've actually been using RGB for YEARS. Now that I have my own printer, I actually just now realized that I should probably be in CMYK! Don't worry, it's not a huge deal! The difference isn't that big.
