Hello Everyone and Welcome!
In this video In head out to a familiar campsite. Ann and I were discussing chilli this week and saying I haven't made one in a while. She suggested my best chilli is cooked over an open fire.
Today I have come out to make my chilli and decided to take the opportunity to show you how I cook it. I spend the day simmering it over the fire and take it back home for supper. I may have forgotten a few things at home and the spice rack may have been missing some things but I make do with what I have. Wich, as it turns out, is a big factor in how I cook. Making do with what's available to me.
Please, join me on this cooking Adventure!
Thanks for watching!

Good idea making chili I bet there wont be any leftovers. Your lucky that you can get out just about every weekend. I live in Pennsylvania USA and it seems as though we get 3-4+ inches of rain every weekend along with a bunch of high winds. Not a pleasant place out in the woods. Happy Easter to you and Ann and Lucy

Yep, that's it. No more making chili until you can learn to remember the onion and garlic! 😂 Seriously, though, it looked pretty good. Hopefully the weather stays clear so you guys can get out camping this weekend. I was hoping to get out myself, but now they're calling for storms to move in again, so I guess I'll have to wait until next weekend.

Bet it feels good to get back to some old stomping grounds! I've gotten used to cooking without onions for sure...that way I can always have something to share with Otis. Sure looking good...and always great to go along with a cup of tea. Awesome stuff!!
