One of the scents and tastes that always makes me think of summer, I'm not a big drinker but I do like elderflower wine! I start by picking the flower heads, then show and talk about how to brew them into a gorgeous wine.
Here's the video link to the next stage of making the wine: • How I make elderflower...

ah ha ! you beat me to it, I was going to do a vid on this, but to be honest you have done a better job than what I would have done, excellent video. its so nice this stuff, its like bottling a bit of summer !! we are brewing a lot now, getting ready for Christmas. there's an old rumour that a guy going of the name of Jesus turned water into wine !! its not a miracle or magic is it. just plain science. thumbs up

+ESCAPING THE MATRIX FOR GOOD you're spot on - it is a taste of summer for those dark wet winter days when I'm missing a good summer in my garden. Thank you.

Oh, I put a Tbs, hope it won't taste...Thanks for explaining about the amounts.I have heard the amount of sugar influences the number ofalcohol percent formed, because won't the yeast just go on eating until the sugar is finished up? I understood it that the sugar for sweetness is added after the fermentation, without the yeast creatures... Nice to see your relaxed palm with the pollen, very reflective and unexpected. Had to listen to get old of another bucket 4 times to get it , it's dialect. RP is bestfor everyone to get you easily. When you mention 6 weeks, is that only for clarification? because I got it that it is not ready for consumption until ½ YEAR! So nI won't get mine for my birthday party inm September, will I? Or is there a way to speed it up? The small batch I tried ½ year ago, I made the mistake of too early consumption/ gift, and it was not appreciated by others than myself, probably because I cherished my "baby" that I had cared for and watched with my soul. It's so interesting that taste can develop later on! Do you wait ½ year? And do you have an alcohol measurer? Swedish female St John greetings with your "Dami John", hahaha!I love how the English recreate a strange word to get an English idea of it, even if it makes no sense. Some time I'll look up the etymology of damejeanne.

Can you do a video for each subsequent step in the process, please? Also, have you experimented with any other type of sugar like coconut sugar or maple syrup?

+JoAnna Wheaton I'll do a video about siphoning it into another demijohn once the sediment has settled a bit more, will be another week or two. And I've never tried alternatives to granulated sugar, I wonder if stevia would do the same job?

@@PetalsonthePavingSlabs Hello: Stevia would not do the job since it is not a sugar, has no calories. but Mascovado, Coconut sugar, rice malt, maple syrup and cane sugar and honey would do it.Although it seems a terrible waste of the bees tremnendous work and medicinal product to destroy it by fermentation... I wonder whether the wine taste is influenced bý a healthier súgar? It should. When siphoning, how can you tell when to stop sucking? And how do you prevent mouth bacteria from entering? Thank you.

why doesn't the bucket have an air lock on?

+CaptainTJAYS not all fermentation buckets do, if you get one that doesn't then I wait for the lid to bulge and release it a little. Hope this helps!
