Hey folks, in this film, I'll be making a gallon of elderflower wine from raw elderflowers, along with a lemon, a kilo of brewing sugar, some tomato paste as yeast nutrient, 5 litres of spring water and some wine yeast.
The film goes through the entire recipe and brew process including ingredients, recipe, fermentation, bottling and tasting.
The net result of this brew is an extremely flavoursome elderflower wine with a good sparkle and clarity. This is a very tasty and seasonal brew, which I will absolutely make again in future. Cheers folks!

Me and my dad made Elderflower wine awhile back and other one with honey. It taste amazing. Nice video. ;)

@@LesBurgess1867 I've read around 20g or thereabouts per gallon, so if you were doing it in 5 litre measurements, probably 25g of dired elderflowers per 5 litres (ish)?

Using high alcohol tolerance yeast to carb with only 10% ABV it would never be left very sweet I'm afraid. Maybe consider non fermentable sugars to add some sweetness if you carbonate in future?

Yes I fully concur. When I make this next year, I'll add some artificial sweetener along with the sugar at the carbing stage.
