Glad u r feeling better! Plz be sure to rinse frozen fruit well (whoever's reading). There are outbreaks of Hepatitis with mostly the frozen raspberries because people (& restaurants) don't usually rinse frozen raspberries (I'm assuming because they are so soft & fall apart if you do). The pickers in field can have various contaminants on hands, that's when you get the recalls on frozen fruits ... Loving the from scratch baby food - Very ambitious of you & very healthy for babies!

I am not needing to make baby food as you can imagine! Even my grands are too old for that. However, you are so much fun to watch that I do it for the joy!

I loved making homemade baby food when mine were very young. I had to be very careful with the strawberries. They seemed to make my son have diaper rash between 1 and 3 years. I would test the fruit in a very small amount each year until there was no more diaper rash. Strawberries did not affect my daughter negatively. You're such a good Momma!

I just had my first grandson on Saturday. I had planned to make some baby food for him when he gets older to help my daughter out. Thanks for the ideas and the cookbook recommendation. I'm glad you are feeling better. I enjoy watching your videos even though I'm from a different generation. Continue being the beautiful person you are. You are blessed.

I currently do all of my own home canning and now that I am expecting a baby I was so happy to see how you would use your own canned veggies to make baby food! Are there any tips that you have? How did you do your green beans and pears? Since they are already processed do you just drain liquid mostly and then purée adding liquid as needed for consistency? Great video!

Sometimes you say something looks easy...and it's really not (like pie crust 🙈😂). But this truly looks easy. And I love how you can feed your baby single-ingredient foods. I might have to try this when Audrey gets a little older.

Kim, can you leave the link to your church or at least to maybe a way to find a church like yours? Maybe the national website or something. I think we live within driving distance of your area. We are in northern Indiana and pretty soon, maybe in the spring after covid scares are over, we want to start attending a conservative Church that is head covering and dress/skirt wearing but not necessarily super plain. Thank you

Love making homemade baby food for my grandson. I suggest instead of going through the steps of steaming and then transferring the food into a blender, just purchase a Baby Breeza baby food maker. It cooks and purées the food in one step plus only takes minutes. Well worth the price !

Where can we find the silicone trays you used? Apologies if I missed it somewhere! My 3rd son is 2 months old and just based on my energy levels chasing my two older sons and caring for my baby, I thought I would just resort to canned/jarred baby food when he’s ready. I made homemade purées for my first two so you and this video inspired me to keep going with my 3rd!

I made my own baby food some 40 years ago...it was so much better than the stuff available commercially. The best part is she grew up LOVING so many foods and was NEVER a picky eater. BTW....she still isn't.
