How I Make Millions of Gil through Crafting [FFXIV]

A strategy i like to use is to go to market board and look at gear for any crafter level 60 and below. i start with head gear and work my way through all of it. I look for items with 0 for sale currently, then make sure its not 0 because its a super rare or useless item. I make a list of what is just sold out then craft them hq. With no one items on the mb currently you can set the price a bit higher then normal, and yours is the only one there so much more likely to sell fast. Over time you learn what things most of these items need and you can keep a stockpile. Like velveteen, linen, mythril ingots, leathers, etc. Once you have most of the stuff youll need you can craft it fast. Of course there wont always be stuff with 0 for sale, but virtually every time i try i find a list of things, and im on a very busy and crafter heavy server.

Nice vid. I no-lifed all the DoH/DoL jobs after EW launched to prep for savage and so I kinda just ended up with a billion things I could make, and while I def made some money off of it I wasn't really sure how to take advantage of them for better returns. So thanks for the tips!

I started crafting my own gear to save gil. Well, i‘m mostly crafting food but yeah crafting rings my be a good trick.

I checked prices for some of these rings. Most are going for 10 to 15k now. Atleast on crystal server.

Yeah. On Aether Market Boards, nothing is really selling anymore other than basic things for 10-60k occasionally at a slow rate. My old crafting strategies or making dyes just doesn’t work anymore. Glamour prisms are about it for 20k a stack of 99. Better off just doing roulettes lol

AWESOME video! Yeah I see rings that are priced sometimes for 100K and not sure how to price them…. And with the higher end level 80 and above, what would I sell? I’m still trying to work on making 80 items. Still haven’t made master recipes yet so are those worth it?! Thank you for this.

I managed to make a lot of money by simply gathering fleece and turning into woolenyarn and selling a 30stack for 50-70k, people are really lazy and by capitalising on this I managed to get a nice small house in shirogane

@@blessfulnukie im pretty sure the price of fleece has decreased now, but there a specfic places outside of ishgards gate, where sheep spawn, you can just constantly farm them for fleece

i wonder why they would buy that tho, like every guide i see ppl just skiping buying on MB and buy the npc gear and you can still get with 90s without spending on HQ MB gear lol

Are you targeting rings because jewelry items are not usually rewards from quests

imo for those items that are insanely overpriced. it is usually faster and less of a hassle to just buy them from other worlds with the help of universalis.

At what level do I create dwarven mythril nuggets ( or whatever they are called)?? Do you have other videos that would help or guide us what can sell well with carpenter, CUL, ARM, LTW….

So I am putting your theory to the test. I made I think 10 HQ white oak rings and put them on the mb with a slight undercut. Let’s see if they sell. So far…nothing yet. What drives me nuts is when I see another seller make the same item and I check to see how my items are doing, they undercut me by 2k. So now I’m taking it personally and going after this person by undercutting THEM lol! I need serious help…

Don’t fight the undercutters, make them work for you. Wait until they’re cheap then buy them out, then resell the things you just bought for a higher price.
