How do you do a mock-up when you embroidered a design?

I've seen some stitch out on a white piece of fabric and photo shop it onto a shirt by blurring the edges, but I have no idea how to use photoshop. So I just stitch it onto white knit fabric from Walmart or Joanns and fold the edges under into a nice square. Then when you get an order replace it with a picture of it on an actual shirt.

Yes ma'am! I put a link to one on the description but in Etsy's search bar you can type "women's shirt mock ups" etc and a bunch will come up
