Do you use air print with your pro 200? How do you configure the settings to come up with accurate colors and quality print?

Both! I create on photoshop but I print sometimes from canon software as well. It depends what I am going to print.

Hello Nazli, I found this video of yours so helpful! I ordered the Koala paper and like it a lot too. I also invested in the Canon Pro 200 printer and have a big question for you! Every time I use any "Matte Photo Paper" as a paper type it won't let me print at A4! It will if I choose "Cardstock". The notice it gives is paper size are not set correctly, it says selected media type (Matte Photo Paper) needs to be set to a paper size with wide margins. If I cancel "safety margin regulation" it works, but I shouldn't have to do this correct? Sometimes it tells me I should change setting to 11x17 (margin 25) or A4 (margin 25) but then if I select it still won't work. Can you please shed light if you know anything about this? Does it have something to do with using ICC profiles? ( I haven't used yet). I hope you have some ideas, I'm so frustrated with my new printer!

Hey Mary, I am glad to hear that you liked the video. Normally it should prints on a a4 size paper if you choose a4 in the software as well. That is interesting! For your question these might help, I would recommend you to try printing with "other" profile setting on your printer. So it will take the paper and print as you managed on your photoshop or other softwares settings. The second option is download Canon's software. You are able to print until the edges with no space when you change the settings.

@@nazlibrush Thank you Nazli, I will look for "other" profile on the printer, so far I have only tried this paper so I've not used any special ICC profiles. I'm using Affinity Photo, weird thing is I can't use the Canon Software unless I have photoshop (that's what it says when I went to download), I think that's crazy!

Thanks for showing the comparison. I'm researching for the 'best' printer to make my art prints/cards and stickers, trying to balance quality and cost. I'm just wondering how water-resistant is the ink used in Pro-200? Have you tested it (eg smearing the colors with a wet hand)?

I use the Epson Velvet Fine Art paper and based on the results you got being so dull, I'm pretty sure you printed on the wrong side. The correct side is actually the slightly smoother side, not the more textured one. If you still have the paper give it a try again on the other side, the results will be much much better.
