I feel like the only natural who doesn't wear twist outs/braid outs/bantu knot outs/etc etc etc 😅 my hair shape is trash and it always frizzes and shrinks up after like 3 hours so I don't even try

When you're done doing your twist out put your hair in 2 buns for a day and that will stretch it

@@Kitsunaes the minute the buns come out, my hair would shrink back up 🤷🏾‍♀️ it's just not worth the effort for me

Usually I'll redo my hair between day 4-6, depending on how dry it feels. But the banding technique helps me so much, especially when I don't want to retwist it

Love the hair. To get rid of the part down the middle in the back, I band in the middle of the back of my head. 💖

Try to avoid products with glycerin or with glycerin in the top 4 or 5 ingredients. I had the same problem. Stopped using glycerin & my twistouts started lasting a full week. And I live in super humid south Louisiana

lmao im confused like how does your hair move when you shake it??? my hair doesn’t respond well to banding, pineapple method etc bc it can never fall back into the original shape. i just lightly wrap my headscarf around my hair before bed and fluff w oil in my fingers so its not flat.
@connorsmith2665
@connorsmith2665 3 жыл бұрын
I used to have this problem but I just took down my mini twists to wash them, and I noticed they actually moved…a lot. First time ever for me. and my hair wasn’t weighed down with product. I think I know why. Last time I washed my hair, I let it completely air dry overnight after I washed my DC out. Then I made my mini twists with a leave in and a grease (I don’t think the products matter). While I was applying the product, I was steaming my hair. Then I steamed my hair a couple times through that first week only. And at the end of the second week, that’s when I noticed how movable my hair was. Idk if it was the styling on dry hair, or the steaming that worked, but I hope this helped.

Okay one question, why do people think black people have no hair 🤦🏽‍♀️ , like it’s annoying story-time : I was at school one day and this girl who has really short natural hair I was talking to her , and they started talking about hair and they said they both had short hair , and I said I can’t relate , and they going tell me I have short hair ! And I simply told them no my hair stops at my arm pit but they didn’t believe me 🤨
