Great tip, i do that as well too -- just this time, i went out a couple of times so i just left my hair out. But keeping them in twists for days, definitely helps out a lot !

This was a great video! I usually style my hair in twists for a week and the next week take them down for a twist out, but I will retaliate my hair (dry) every other night. You mentioned the importance of keeping the hair moisturized and knowing the signs of when it's time to remoisturize, so I'll have to focus on that with my hair! Thank you

I don't work from home but as soon as I get home my hair is up and in a scarf and if I don't go out on the weekends it stays wrapped up. I don't touch it at all. Best way to keep it moist

i try not to use so much product all the time, if i need to restyle. and i trim when needed, not set schedule, if i feel knots or tangles and see split ends, i will dust my ends then

thank you and since i use my acv rinses, i probably do not get itchiness until maybe day 8 or 9 then i will oil my scalp and it will last. until i want to wash it. definitely pay attention to what products you use.

Yes, if my hair feels dry I will add water. soo I can last 4 to 5 days, but I just moisturize earlier like every 3 days so I can catch my hair before it gets dry...

now i wash weekly because i review so many products and i like to ensure my hair is clean before using a new line. but biweekly was good for the time, it helps because it is not as much manipulation. but when it was getting to day 10 to 11, my hair gets so dry that moisture can not get in and i need to clarify or shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo. so i just listen to my hair and its needs.

depends, when needed. usually every 2 to 3 weeks or sooner depending on the products i use. it is recommending for low porosity to clarify when washing always but i find it to be stripping to do that on a weekly basis

im so confused how can you tell if your hair is dry and you need to moisturize? what is it that i need to look for?

Usually I can tell by my ends, if they look a little stringy or just feel stiff, then I know I need to spray a refresher spray on it or something, sometimes my hair can be soft and hydrated but with no definition, that's when I will just restyle but without adding product. Everyones dryness when it comes to their hair is different so you have to just pay attention. What I would do is, do a style like a twist out of braid out, then take it out the next day, then touch your hair every single day after. You will notice the difference day after day, that your hair is slowly losing the moisture..

after that, then you can determine when is the right time to add more moisture. try to do it one to two days before your hair is unbearably stiff and has no movement.

so your hair is probably still moisturized your just losing definition which is also normal. So its really up to you, like I said you can redo the twists and do them bigger and not add any product, then take it out tomorrow. or if you think it feels dry, maybe just spray a refresher spray on it, you can easily make your own with a spray bottle, just add water, a little leave in conditioner and then oil in the spray, shake it up, then spray it to your hair, then you re twist your hair.
