Hello Amazing Crafters.
Some of you message me how I made my names for my Resin Letter Keychains. This is for you guys I apologize for the long wait.
I also added in this video how I made curve text I usually use Photoshop to edit names but for this video I'm using MS Word for everyone can follow.
I hope you guys enjoy this video. If you have any queries and request you can always ping me.
And remember working with resin is fun, but precautions are necessary😊
R E M I N D E R S:
Work in a well-ventilated space while wearing protective goggles and nitrile gloves. You may also require a respiratory mask depending on the nature of the fumes. No matter how safe or non-toxic a resin claims to be, you should always take the proper protective measures when working with this substance in its liquid state.

Oh I've been wanting to upgrade from letter beads since my customers are asking for more diverse colour shades and more text styles but I never understood how other resin artists did them. I looked into cutters like cricut explorer but they were too expensive for me so I looked to youtube for help. I luv your letter keychains, I'm wanting to try resin. Did you use a home printer to print the name's or do I need to invest in a curtain type of printer .... I'm old school this is all new to me I would appreciate your help.... thanks for sharing your beautiful crafting.

Hi Michelle, thank you for stopping by. Yes, the color of the names can be changed but if you're using only dye ink for your printer like me, I don't recommend changing the color because the text becomes translucent or not so clear. This is only based on my experience. Thank you and I hope this helps.

Hi Lisa, Deskjet printers are actually inkjet printers too, the term ‘Deskjet’ is essentially just HP’s branding of their printers. I never tried using deskjet but it might work also to this kind of paper.

Hi Kelly, thanks for stopping by. I wish I had a cricut machine too.😅 For me, the best letter size for a keychain is around 14-17 font size but it will always depend on the type of font you use.😊

The waiting time depends on the type of your resin and the temperature of your working area. I usually wait 24 hours and it's too long to wait 😅 but you can attach the names as soon as the resin hardens.

I was told that if i used an inkjet printer for resin the ink would run in the resin. Does it depend on the paper you use or do you need to use a certain ink type?

Hi thanks for watching. I never had a problem using my inkjet printer in my resin projects with the regular dye ink. Maybe the problem is the type of paper you used.

Hi Balkis, thank you for stopping by. Thank you for your suggestion I appreciate it. Actually black is the best to use for transparent vinyl, the others colours like gold or silver if printed in a vinyl it will become translucent. You can try to use a metal pen for colored names🙂
