Don’t despair, Matt’s footage is slightly misleading, I’d only just finished a game on your board against ‘3-Ogers’ Simon’s infamous Slave Ogryns! Thanks for all the effort you put into crating that steaming pile of sump!

Sorry if I missed you saying it, but are those 3mm acrylic sheets that you're using for the base of the tiles?
@jdinthesumpsea1560Ай бұрын
So.... you didn't miss it! Sorry about not introducing you to my medium! Here in the states it's called plexiglass! Which is used in replacement of glass for window repair. Plaskolite here also called Lexon if you need some bullet proof stuff. But you're correct in saying that its acrylic sheet at 2.5 mm in thickness. You can usually find sheets of it at the local hardware store or window repair shop at a reasonable price. It's a bit more sturdy than plasticard due to what it's made for but for bases, it's a great lightweight medium that will take most coatings if prepped right. Thanks for the question and if you have more just ask! :) Happy Holiday's and thanks for popping in!

I don't know if you can do it with your christmass paper, but with toilet paper and similar you can sculpt waves ; kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2O8pmVolq1-oKs

Oh yeah for sure! I've always had better luck with the Christmas paper myself. It doesn't liquify quite as much as the tp does on the second coat of PVA and the tp has always shrunk a bit more than I wanted it to for this initial layer of sump. I might use it in the second vid though in conjunction with some painters caulk to seal the bottom of the foam pieces though! Good call! Thanks for stopping in!
