I just started following you a day ago and I feel like so many ppl ask for donations and support but never share what I deem really helpful but you really be sharing gems. So I selfless of you and at some point I feel like we Al owe you some suckers for real lol. Idc how many so called tutorials I have seen they always leave something or a lot out and I feel like you are so open and honest like when I talk to ppl and recognizing that is commendable. So thank you for that. Wish I’d seen you when I first started. I wasted so much that I did not have to waste. 🕊️

A lot of candle makers seem to like IG6006. I will buy it to test. Also Allen, I ordered Doop French Riviera and will let you know what I think about it. ❤

Yah, it’s a solid wax but I would not consider it my favorite. Great scent throw and great crackle though!

I'm doing a lot of research on candle making and I was looking at IG6006 but I'm really liking a coco apricot blend that has a little paraffin in it. It's sold by Morouge Canada. Many start with 464 but I'm not sold on that one though. What would you recommend to start with and is the better wax to use for 4 inch tulip vessels? My main craft is soap making so I don't want too many various vessels, just a couple maybe, but want to make them with either cement all or hydrostone. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

I have not spoke much about it on here, but I’ve been doing testing with coco apricot (Ceda serica), and I think it’s an excellent overall wax. My personal favorite currently is Soy Bliss/No 7/CB2 but coco apricot is a close second or third.

Hi Allen! I’m new to all of this, but have watched SOOOO many videos, read, researched, and finally bought my first molds, sealer, wax, etc. and am VERY excited to get started. First question, what wax do you prefer? Second … If not wooden wicks, what do you suggest? Third & final … what info do you put on your labels? and do you always place a warning label? PS … ok, that was 4, but who’s counting? 😂 Thanks so much for your vid’s and the links. Much appreciated!
@earthglow Жыл бұрын
Hi there!!! Congrats on getting started!! It really depends on your goals with wax. I’d have to say my favorite wax in general right now is Soy Bliss/No 7 but it’s certainly not the only one I use and that could also change. For labels it depends on your country and sometimes even state as but there’s very specific info that needs to go on your warning labels that you need to take the time to research (I personally do not have a video on it but many others do). I hope this helps!

Hello, you create beautiful candles. I made soy candles and there are uneven surfaces. I used a heat gun but it turned out even worse. Can I pour wax over it? Thank you for any suggestions.
@AbesCreditPointers Жыл бұрын
You need to blend the soy with something. If you want a natural candle it's good with like 20 percent coconut wax to help smooth it. If you want a slightly better hot throw also blend it with like a Para wax and Para wax will also make it smooth.

@@AbesCreditPointers Thank you ! :) Yours videos are great.
@earthglow Жыл бұрын
Hi there! I would agree that it is not possible to achieve a smooth top with soy alone. Blending it with some coconut oil may help but you’ll likely need even more than 20% to get a consistent smooth top and this will also lower your meltpoint, making shipping more challenging.

Hi Allen! Do you pour your wax directly over the wooden wicks? Do you feel it helps them burn more consistently?
@earthglow11 ай бұрын
Hi! I have done this but have not noticed any differences to be honest.
