Please read for more details
I use a white stoneware clay for all my mugs and each mug uses around 500 grams of clay excluding the handle. Once formed i leave the mugs to fully dry for a few days before bisque firing them to 1000 degrees celsius. After bisque firing i then begin glazing my mugs using different colour underglazes. Finally the mugs are coated in a clear glaze and put in for a second firing.

Hi, do u always wedge like that? I hate rams head wedging and this looks much easier. Is it effective with eliminating air bubbles?

Hi yes the technique I use is spiral wedging, I find it a lot easier than rams head, especially for smaller chunks of clay. Usually if i'm throwing on the wheel I wedge the clay for a lot longer than i have in this video though.
