You can right click on the scales in the keyboard to midi or in scale highlighting to keep the menu open while picking scales. Super handy for finding the scale of some midi

Wow I gotta try that
@AykesMusic2 күн бұрын

Does anyone know if Ableton has the same midi lock in scale function which Based mentions at 7:39?

Can you also just do the same thing with the scale highlighting then on the next channel use “view” then select the key and use the ghost / gray notes? This would allow you to skip having to drag the scale midi as reference right? Thanks for the help on the journey bro. Going to have to subscribe if not already

Yea I believe you can do that, this is just the way I’ve always done it

Upgrade to FL Studio 21 and you don’t need to drag out the notes in the scale for the ghost notes

I’m on 24 but this is just how I’ve always done it lol I think there’s better ways to do it now

Am I crazy or did you just talk about music theory the whole time?
@based118 сағат бұрын
Music theory is wayyyy more advanced than this. This is just building chords.

@@based1 It is, but most people start at triads. I was just joking. It was a good video. Sick beat. And you are way better at teaching than 90% of the youtube beat channels.
