Bea, I totally understand where you’re coming from when you talked about comparing yourself to other artist/creators/shop owners. I am also a small shop owner/creator and I release new products every month too and I know how it feels when you work so hard on a collection and put it out but hardly anybody pays it any attention. I’m literally going through the exact same thing right now. So you are not alone. My goal is the same as yours “to be able to support myself as an artist, content creator and shop owner and I am nowhere near that but I’m still pushing forward as you should too. You’re so inspiring and sweet and I love watching your videos. 🥰

Hi Bea! A subscriber from Argentina here! Have you consider to produce bookmarks and hang your dangles (the ones you make with shrinking plastic) from them with a jump ring? I think they may look amazing with your lovely designs!!!... and a great addition to your store!! Bia you are an incredible artist please don't be hard on yourself 😥 Remember overnight success or rapid growth isn't actually common and it's not always a good thing... ... Also growth is rarely consistent 👍 I've heard so many young, small business owners discouraged about sales recently, but truthfully this time of year is always slower for retail 🙏. Gather your sales data and use it next year and every year after that to get a true picture of how healthy your sales are...but don't forget that right now you are still growing 🙏 volume of sales and repeat custom comes as people gain trust. That takes patience to wait for, but it will happen 😊 ...so many people get disheartened and give up too early....in five years time you will be amazed at what you've achieved 👍😊 You're right about promoting your updates more too. Give as much notice as possible so that customers are ready for the update and are expecting it...and are excited for it 😊... sometimes scheduling a regular update day works well too then customers get into a routine of looking (just like with KZbin updates 😊👍) You'll figure it out 🙂. Just remember this is a marathon and not a sprint ❤️🙏 . Your journey is unique to you so you don't compare yourself to anyone else 👍 Your talent is very real. Everything else is learned along the way 😊 and I'm looking forward to seeing you grow😊🥳

Beautiful earrings! Do you have a video showing how to get your stickers on the computer and how to print them. I mostly do beads and resin,but love the shrinky dinks. ❤ Thank you!

It is so hard dedicating yourself to something you love so much - it shows how much you care! And such an emotional rollercoaster when you have to sell what you love - especially on social media. You are so brave and humble. Keep smiling - your work is so lovely! I watch a lot of KZbin vlogs while I make my things after my kids have gone to bed - and I wouldn’t believe everyone’s “success stories” - I think much of it is just then hyping up their image because that is a marketing technique where people will follow/buy from a trend/successful brand. It’s just smoke and mirrors and I couldn’t honestly do it myself. 2 last things - how about advent calendars for Christmas? You have such a variety of things - what I noticed that another KZbin artist would build up her “shop update” where it was a very limited number. Like she had her advent calendars where she only had 950 and they quickly sold out - but she really had several videos on her process of putting together the calendars and then she only had 2 other updates for the year. So it may seem like their “shop updates” are so very successful but they don’t really have all that many - and they focus on putting out a very particular item - another artist did a book of sketches of haunted houses for Halloween. Another did an annual book of her sketches. Anyhow - you’re so inspiring and I will be ordering from you for the holidays!! I’m sure you are going to be so busy then!!

Thank you love for sharing your process. I used the printable transparent shrink plastic and it cracks when I go to cut the images. I was frustrating, however I also like the results of shrink plastic. Take good care 😘💕

You have to be very careful cutting it, both of them! You have to cross the cuts and not turning the scissors or it cracks :)

Hiiii! You can find the link for the shrink plastic here: www.apenasillustrator.com/affiliate-links Yes you can print on both sides! I printed on both sides a few times but sometimes the sheets are not perfect A4 so they don't print accurately on top of each other! Hope this helps 💛

I used to use shrink plastic years ago but I used lucky squirrel brand but it’s gone bust. Can you recommend one that doesn’t warp the image when shrunk? Ty xx

I think it depends more on the temperature/settings you use on your oven than the brand tbh! When I moved here the oven changed the setting and it was warping even tho I was using the same brand. Maybe try other settings first! :)

It might depend on the shrink plastic you use, but I have mine ate 140 celsius! :)
