There's so much talent in channels like these. Making your own music on top of making great videos. I hate how effortless and copy/paste big channels are these days, they really don't put any heart into their craft.

I wasn't going to say anything, but your comments about the weather and well-wishes lead me to say: my chronic illnesses flared-up and I missed what was probably the last sunny and warm week over here :( I tried to enjoy what I could through my windows, but I got migraines so I had to shut curtains a lot of the time... but your narration always makes me feel better. Especially the music ones, as like so many other musicians' they remind me that simpler is usually better so I need to stop playing so dang many notes!! Haha

Hey Crafsman, love that you show this kind of thing. As a musician myself, I always wonder what approach you take to create your tunes. If you haven’t already, check out the Polyend Tracker/Tracker Mini. This is how I’ve been creating music as of late, using everyday sounds and turning them into soundscapes such as a foghorn from a cruise ship turned into bowed strings or the static from the radio into a new instrument utilizing the wavetable. Keep steady craftin!

Crafsman! You build music like some folks build those Lego (tm) things that look so fantastic. You might make things from Lego (tm) for all I know. I don't though, I did not have Lego (tm) as a child. I had concrete blocks. One time I dropped one on my foot and fractured a metatarsal. Had to walk a quarter mile back home on a broken foot. I made it though! That was a long time ago. They say kids were tougher then. Maybe so. Anyway, ever build any of those Lego things, or is that to restrictive for your style?

Buried under blankets on a table in my bedroom is a very early Ensoniq ES1-1 keyboard, all metal except for the keys still hooked up to rack mounts of sounds from Roland and Kurzweil, outputting to a buried Yamaha 4 Track casette recorder and mixer almost three feet deep. You used regular cassettes but stuck a metallic sticker on the rear to communicate that this was to be four track. All these things in my bedroom are hidden by future stuff. The ESQ-1 was extremely user friendly with it's on board 8 tracks midi mixer. Crazy that I still have all this stuff buried.

Thank you for your honesty, and for at least checking this out! I do appreciate it! The ones on the "MUSIC to CRAFT by" release are maybe more on the chilled side (but even some of those have heavy bass + drums) but I would be intrigued about intentionally making relaxing music. Even incorporating binaural audio recordings.

@@TheCrafsMan Yes would love that! I love to watch your videos to fall asleep but sometimes the techno beats conflict a bit with how relaxing your voice is
