Hey Craftsman, I love your videos. I appreciate the way you explain everything and you’re just so chill. Question, what type of gas do you prefer on little projects like this. Mapp gas?
@TheCrafsMan6 сағат бұрын
Hey there! Thank you for watching! :D I grab the yellow Mapp gas cylinders. Not sure why I always stuck with that (I think I read it burns a little hotter and maybe I was getting it for soldering thicker items w/ Muggy Weld, etc.) but that's the one I go for. :)

That’s crazy you got a sound booth. My son had me build him a sound booth twenty years ago when he used to live here. I still don’t know what it is but he had it a double window and a pass- through for some shitload of wires.

I watch A LOT of art tutorials on KZbin but this is one of the best I’ve seen. I love this process! I’ve wanted to sculpt versions of my cartoon characters for years, but could never get it right. With this process I feel like I might finally be able to do it. Thank you so much for a FANTASTIC video!!

FINALLLLY someone that is showing a step to step tutorial . IT amazes me how many videos are on this site with no step by step . Would like to try this some day ...just need to learn how to sculpt .

Thanks so much! I've been intimidated by getting into a whole different way of painting so seeing someone use it for the first time and get comfortable with it is reassuring. BTW, I love your figures! Looking forward to watching more videos :)

Could have used this info in my more, uh, heavily-medicated days. Didn’t have a use for all my empty medicine bottles, but I held onto them nonetheless.

Okay, this is the best video I found on KZbin. Thank you very much for giving hope to create something of your own with your own hands, which does not require a whole factory to implement. I have been thinking about creating my own doll heads for a very long time, which could be sewn with artificial hair. Alas, in this industry, only plastic hard heads printed on the printer are still available. Now there is hope for the creation of soft like factory heads. Thank you man! Shoot more videos!

Very enjoyable. If you have a hardwood store in your town (like Metro Hardwoods in Kansas City) you may be able to buy spalt woods like Maple, Elm, or whatever. Spalting is what happens when a piece of wood starts to decay. Rays of dark brown,black or red grains radiate out through the wood making astonishing changes and surreal patterns. Almost any kind of wood can spalt and you can do it yourself in several weeks. Lay it on the ground out in the open and check on it every few weeks. When the end grain start to get dramatic, you are spalting.
