Wrapping your hair is essential. I washed and with the braids in and they held up great but I didn't wrap ONE night and now my whole head is frizzy😖😂

Hi gorgeous! Quick question: I know you don't use water to re-moisturize your braids...I've notice that if I re-moisturize the braids without water, I get less breakage and when I apply aloe vera juice to the mini braids i feel like I get more breakage. Have you had a similar experience?

I tighten my roots with a latch-hook when I want to extend my mini-braids . It blends right in with the braids.

@Terry Lee can you elaborate a bit more? So you are doing braids with your own hair too? Wish you had a video so 8 could see a visual of what you do withthe latch hook!

christine1962ful I use the last hook to tighten the loose new growth the same way it’s used to tighten loose roots on locks: push the hook through north to south on the first pass, grasp the end of the braid and pull it through. Repeat east to west on the next pass, etc. until the roots are comfortably tightened. The main thing is NOT to do n/s or e/w in a row. You’ll create a hole vs a braided look if you don’t alternate directions. I hope that helps. I’ll try to do a video next time I wear mini braids. ❤️

I kept the braids in for about 3 weeks. I could’ve left them in longer. I co-washed my hair one week in and I re-did the front as show. In this video once. I moisturized my hair every other day or every two days worth the products shown in the video.
