Been using the MHM every two weeks for years now. Simpler and faster version -- Dont wash you hair first, but slather on GREEK full fat yogurt 40 minutes then wash out. Then apply RHASSOUL CLAY/ water mixture . 40 minutes then rinse out preferably in shower then apply your gel. DO NOT apply leave in conditioner, only gel like The Kurly Custard. This method is particularly best for the tightly coiled really kinky 4c hair that may be on the thin side. Thanks so much for sharing this.
@themothershyp77884 жыл бұрын
Someone emailed me. Rhassoul clay provides a bit more moisture (and definition) I find better for kinky 4c. With non metal bowl and spoon, mix 3/4 cup rhassoul, add water starting w/ 1/4 cup, add 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and honey. Add more water/clay in small amounts as needed. Mixture should be on runny side, not thick. My hair moisture and definition were maxed after my third try with this method. It's a godsend for kinky 4cs.

@@ladytoyin Dripping wet. I put it on in the shower after washing out the clay. I use about 1/5 of the jar everytime I wash. Remember, do not use the leave on conditioner because it will lessen your definition. The yogurt and clay will leave you well moisturized and make your curls pop. About once a month or so I also use a clarifying shampoo to really clean my hair of all products.

I work in the theatre industry and I'm trying to educate myself on the care of various textures of hair (especially the type 4's), and I just wanted to say that I love this video. Great information, humor, and this editing is on point. And you are right, it made your skin look amazing, too! I don't have any hair but maybe I'll try this method on my face. haha

One of the best videos to date. I do a similar treatment. Mine takes about an hour and half, and my hair has grown an inch an half in 2 1/2 months and the texture has changed considerably. The curls to my afro hair are more defined and the shine is crazy, especially after I use either shea butter or almond oil. The only thing I have not tried is the Benzonite clay and apple cider vinegar. Your hair looks amazing after that. You know that the process is worth it. Keep bringing us those videos.

@@Anfisaaa-yb7se I recently dyed my hair with the Creme of nature hair dye with out the ammonia. So because the it can still strip my hair i want to put the protein back into the strands. Rice water is good for this. I wash my hair with conditioner, not shampoo. Once i have rinsed that out i then spray the rice water, wrap it and leave it for half and hour. I rinse that then i use aloe sometimes, not all the time, and repeat the process. This time i will leave it in for about 45 minutes. (i know this is long). Once i am done. i then put oil n my hair and rinse my scalp with cold water. Then dab my hair. You can grease your scalp with your chosen moisturiser. I use almond oil. No blow drying just plait whilst wet. You'll see the results in the morning. ;)

Substitute I use for the Cherry Lola Treatment 🍒: E’Tae Carmelux deep conditioning treatment. It has all the ingredients, requires no steps except applying it to your hair lol, and made for a long shelf life. Absolutely love the Max hydration method and her curls are everything 🥰

I just did this method (except for the initial ACV wash, I just used a clarifying shampoo) and my hair doesn’t look anywhere as good as hers, my curls didnt clump the same, but I’ll admit it’s the most defined wash n go I’ve ever had. Thanks!

I really need to commit to this on a weekly and see more consistent results. My coils are very tight, very bouncy. 70% shrinkage. I like my Orphan Annie hair, but getting and keeping the definition is my life's purpose. Mainly, I just need to spend that solid time clumping my curls with flaxseed gel at the end.

Girrrrrrl I just did the Aztec clay mask the other day! I love this mask. It makes my hair so much cleaner, softer, and shiner than other shampoos! Also applying your leave-in the shower allows for better absorption of the product... low porosity over here lol
@lareace35744 жыл бұрын
I apply my leave in and then place a plastic cap on so it can absorb. Changed the game for me.

Love, love, love this. Just started using the ACV treatment within the last year, but did not realize what else my hair may need. Decided to go natural 7 years ago, and it has been quite the journey. This is probably THE best tutorial I have found, and I cannot wait to incorporate it in my routine. ❤🖤

Oh wow oh wow!! I have white girl hair that is usually wavy and dry and frizzy but OH SO THICK! I did not think this would work because rule of thumb is to not use clay products in wavy or straight hair. But i used this method you showed and it took about an hour for me. I ended up having to deep co-wash again after the clay treatment be because my hair felt matted and tangled.. and then i added the leave in conditioner and some jojoba oil and then some light weight kelp gel. I lightly difussed my hair and my curls have never been so tight and shiny and defined. This is amazing!! Best method ever.
