This has been a highly requested topic from you all, so I wanted to revisit how I work through my anxiety for this new year. These are the tools that work for me, and I am sharing them with you in the hopes that some of them may be helpful, or at least lead you to think about how you can approach your struggles from a different angle.

This is true. When I wanted to be a truck driver, everyone who loved me discouraged me. Then I did it. It’s the same thing now with pilot school. Everyone keeps telling me it’s too expensive and would be too hard to do with 3 kids and a full time job.

After a very long time, I too finally realized that I had to stop pretending to be someone else for someone else, who had no right to question my life. Thank you, RACHEL ❤️

Yes, unfortunately I recognize this all too much but the positive thing is that I do recognize this now even though I'm already 48 years old and I'm working on it. 🙌

This totally hit home! Thank you for sharing because sometimes people think the journey needs to be easy or WAS easy for me, but we all struggle, but we work on honing our skills at being better at understanding all of this! Keep getting it girl! 👊

Your words where what I need to hear today 💯 I have been riding the anxiety train since schools closed here in N. Ireland and I was faced with doing 101 things for not only my children but their teachers and speech therapists. Thank you I realised I was actually anxious because I have been trying to appear to be handling my 💩 to all these different people and being this super human . Thank you I now know where my anxiety is coming from and I am gonna be making changes so I can step of the anxiety train and actually find enjoyment in my day.

Are you my fairy godmother following me around? I literally had the thought I wish “they” saw what I see - I wish they believed in me like I believe in me. And here you are! Great advice and just in time as usual! THANK YOU RACHEL! ✨

My anxiety does not come from being a people pleaser more like from people not pleasing me! There are lots of different types of anxiety

Really great points. Though remember “proving yourself” doesn’t mean best seller for most of us. Stay true to you

this is great if your anxiety stems from satisfying others but not very useful if that isn't the source lol.

It sucks to feel that the ones that are closest to you are the ones that 1. you value the input from the most and 2. give the least amount of support for your dreams. I've definitely learned that if it evokes such strong emotion and passion from within, then it's worth it. The hard part is putting on your blinders and deciding to stick with it, even if you're not seeing traction. If anyone is reading this, I believe in you. Your dreams are important.
