From what I can see, the big 3 countries to get residency if you have your own international business are UAE, Cyprus and Paraguay. Maybe Im wrong, but I dont think any other countries have the combination of ease of getting a residency along with tax advantages as well as low amount of time needed to reside there each year.

i have WIO business and personal account . business account account turning over high seven figures in AED. The app works very well. On other hand customer service is a bit of hit and miss. I really worry about putting a lot of money ( all relative ) in WIO, because from my interactions with them I get the strong feeling if the shit hits the fan they won’t be great.

Hi Tuomas, FAB has the same 5.25% interests than Wio which a lot of people have had issue to get their money frozen sorted out. not gonna lie, that put me off a lot that's why i choose FAB for the saving account

Thanks for the video. Very helpful ! When you first arrived in the UAE and got your Emirates ID were you able to get a bank credit card ? I don't mean a debit card, I mean a credit card. Maybe you had to make some type of deposit or prepayment for a credit card because when you first arrived, you don't have a credit history in the UAE ?

Yes I did. They require a deposit held indefinitely at the bank as long as you have an active credit card. They give a small amount of interest paid each year

Yes you can get one instantly with a deposit which is held by the bank as long as you have the card
