I’m in desperate need of a spiritual video last summer my mental health and spirituality was at its best but my actual life was boring and dull but now I’ve joined college my outer life has became amazing I have the best friends and have found my soulmate but despite that I have not been grounding myself and keeping myself aware and I have been doing mentally not good and Karissa genuinely saved my mental health in summer x

my biggest pet peeve when it comes to manifestation videos is when they say “say it as if it already happen, talk in present tense” because why would you do that? the universe is like our mother and that’s like going up to your actual mother and being like “thank you mom for the 25,000 dollars you transferred to my bank account. thanks for the new mercedes as well” it doesn’t feel natural

i think that technique is used to make you realize more that you are your creator. you create your life so you can say exactly what you want to happen and it will happen. it feels unnatural at first because its the first time you are exercising that power from within and your subconcious is programmed to not think and create that way or even speak that way so it feels kinda weird😅but consistency and repetition is key! and instead of looking at the universe as your mom, look at the universe as yourself because you are the universe and the universe is you. if you are your creator then you are the universe. everything in the universe is a fractal of the divine energy of creation just in different forms which is why everything is connected ^^ luckily there are many ways to make a sandwich so you don’t have to conform to one manifestation technique. life imitates art and the world is your canvas and you can choose to create your art in whichever way that you want! your potential is limitless 💫

That is just what works for them but there is no rules to manifest because it’s you that’s in charge of ur own reality snd you make the rules up so talk asif or talk like ur going to get it but trust ur self snd know u can’t get what you want nd you add meaning to things because everything is empty and meaningless until u give it meaning

I also think the original idea of that concept has lost its meaning through people manipulating it. The idea comes from the ‘feeling’ of having what you want. What would you feel like if you had the life you wanted, had the objects you wanted. You don’t want those things because of the things themselves, you want to feel happy, comfort, at peace, non stressed, confident etccc. So the original mindset was channeling those feelings as if you already have what you want, not needing those specific wants but training your brain to see your life differently and therefore invite more of the things you want. That’s what I think; I hate the materialism of modern manifestation, like it’s not about the damn Mercedes hahah.

it’s not about saying it, it’s about feeling it energetically. and you can get to that point with words because that’s what we as humans use to communicate with others AND ourselves. words create energy and this is what you’re doing when you speak, so talk positive instead of speaking lack and the energy of lack into your future

when I was religious (indoctrinated) there was a saying that “God helps those who help themselves” and although I have dropped the religious aspects surrounding that idea, I still apply it to my life to this day when it comes to manifesting and being connected to spirit. and that was pretty much what I took away from this video & your ideas about manifestation too. while connecting to spirit and keeping the faith that the universe is always conspiring with you to succeed because you are divinely protected and loved, you must also actually apply yourself and take chances and be bold enough to become who you feel you’re destined to be without shame from anyone, including yourself! I appreciate your input so much, Karissa. I’m grateful for you sharing in these very practical and inspiring ideas! people can do whatever they’re drawn to but I’ve just never felt that I was getting a step closer to my dreams by writing my manifestations down 100 times and then burning the paper under the full moon or whayever (and I also practice magic so im not knocking anyone here. just being honest!) 💜

I started watching you when you first started KZbin and it has been amazing to see you grow and achieve your dreams. I realized it this weekend when reading a book “The Yamas & Niyamas.” Fear has taken over my life and came in anger as a self protection mechanism. Thank you so much for making this video Karrisa! It’s quite hard to find people on KZbin who incorporate spirituality into manifestation because like you said, they have a ‘formula’ that they portray as something that will work for everybody, but it doesn’t. We all have our emotions, our fears, our setbacks, our circumstances, our personal beliefs, and it’s so refreshing to see somebody acknowledge this, not shame it, and be able to show that you need to make sacrifices in order to take the path that you want to. Thanks Karissa, I think this video was shown to me at the right moment. This really inspired me, thank you for the advice on letting go of your fears. The way you described how there is no magic mantra or amount of times i have to write something down to improve my manifestations makes this video really easier to follow/understand that instead, it’s a unique processes. I feel like for the longest time most of the manifestation videos I have watched they taught me to only have plan A and to be specific but to me that just simply didn't felt natural and I felt forced and pressured but hearing this video really made me secure and content with the person that I am today and to believe that everything will work out at the end of the day and the truth is we cannot control everything (like some videos pressure us to do so) some things are just out of our hands and maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's our sign to just be and enjoy life. 💜

Hello Karissa! I don't know if you're going to read this, but, I was having hard days (I'm still having them actually), I started a job as a cashier at a grocery store (and it totally drains my energy, makes me spiritually tired) so when you released this video, I thought it could help me change my life in some way... I was taking a course at college that I didn't like (because with it I could get a job more easily and earn well, so I could help my parents too) and working as a supermarket cashier... When I finished watching your video, I wasn't thinking about my college, but I abruptly decided to go back to the course that I had stopped before (and which made me happy). Now my happiness has been my college, and being able to imagine that one day I will be working with something that I like. I realized that I couldn't be working on something that my heart wasn't happy with that I was working on. Thanks for the video!

I love how authentic you are with the messages you want to pass down to people. I really resonated with this video I enjoy smoking weed outside listening to the trees and music and I like to speak out into the universe about the many scenarios in my head (gem moon 12th house) and I find beauty in speaking my thoughts when I do but I have a hard time organizing them and fear of not saying or writing them due to perfectionism and at first it was due to people shutting them down simply because they couldn’t understand I have a Virgo Venus in my 3rd house which helped me realize I have power in communication and similar to you I wish to have a sort of monologue series in video, I’m in a state of confusion of how to go about it and can’t fully see my thoughts as a gift or know how to make art out of it yet, I keep consuming media which I find to be helpful in my journey cuz I see it as information and inspiration but it’s harder for me to put it down and try to create something of my own … I also recently moved out of the city into the desert where I see more nature and it makes me feel more aligned to myself and finding myself because I also stoped being friends with influencial people and started to stand my ground more and continuously practicing stating my ideas and disagreeing with others even if it makes them uncomfortable
