Highly agree with the fact that sometimes mnemonics can be more beneficial when its a combination of you understanding the concept as a whole and then deciding to make your own mnemonic. This helped me out a lot for some of my science classes where I wast not really engaged in the subject matter until I made my own association, then it was fun to learn for me. Great video!!!

Okay I am IMPRESSED. I'm an incoming MS1 so I was watching some videos on study advice. I actually remember EVERYTHING in that description of Menkes disease after remembering your image and I wasn't even actively trying to learn it - my brain subconsciously absorbed it and when you were reflecting in the end I was able to recall everything. I think I found my new secret study hack. I would love to hear about some other study strategies you used - as a visual learner I assume. Thank you so much!!

Would love a video on how to read effectively on difficult texts. Some medical books you have to read are so convoluted due to unnecessary words, terminologies that you don't understand yet etc. How would you go about this? if you could write a short reply it would be a godsend honestly, I am sitting with such a book right now, and the majority of the test comes from this so I can't use another book.

I'm not in medical school, I'm in high school but could you answer this question that I have for my Anatomy & Physiology class, we're learning about bone growth? I know that chondroblasts create chondrocytes, then the chondrocytes divide, then the matrix around the chondrocytes calcifies, leading to the death of the chondrocytes due to lack of nutrients. Secondly, I know that osteoblasts move into the area following the death of the chondrocytes, they secrete osteoid which creates osteocytes, which is mature spongy bone. Although, I don't understand anything regarding fibroblasts Could you please explain that process?
@later20586 жыл бұрын
Actually, the chondroblast does not create chondrocyte. When chondroblast mature, they become chondrocytes and get trapped in the bone matrix
