How I Menu Plan

Back when everyone was home, not many meal planned so to speak. So I winged it for 8 people. Now it is just me, so I don't meal plan at all. I have never meal planned except to plan that morning what we would be eating that night. I do love how you do your box and recipes though! I love the idea of all the ingredients that you will need to buy is on the back of the card. Makes getting that grocery list together much easier after checking the pantry to see what you have. This I would have done back in the day when everyone was still home! LOL Great ideas Stac, a great way to implement meal planning. Hugs, Brenda

Thanks for sharing your system. We meal plan sporadically. I'm currently using a magnetic notepad I was given that has space for weekly menus and shopping list. I was previously writing meals on small sticky notes and putting them on my calendar.

Hey Stacy great and fun share!! We;; since Hubby retired in 2020 he does 90% of the cooking and he's one Magnificent guy in the kitchen and he also love to bake and he plans the meals and I have some things that are what I enjoy making and it's great!! He sure has me spoiled as he does ALL the house cleaning and laundry so YES I'm so spoiled but he said I did all those years and now he wants to and he sure is a whiz at it all....and yes he has hobbies.....he Reads, does Model building, he's new into Lego building I mean how fun right!! I still love my scrapping and he has done some upgrades to my scraproom and has more to do and has gotten me a new table that powers up and dow and can plug stuff into it.......and has lots more ideas to give my room a beauty lift so to speak. so anywho ran into my rabbit hole. LOL OK back to menue planning LOL we make a weekly list by the week....ya know the day Sun. Mon.....Tues etc and write on at line what the dinner will be and if it's a go out to eat day that is listed.....so yep it does work out to plan a bit and yours is really Fabulous!! I usually meal plan for 5 or 6 days. We are likely to order out the rest of the days
