awww this is so cute! I feel like I had a guy sent to me from the universe as well. I was in a relationship which was verbally abusive/sometimes threatening (he would smash plates) and i wanted to leave. I was at heathrow airport and me and this guy both just barely got on a full elevator. he started talking to me and funnily enough, he was going to the same place I was. in fact, he was on my flight! I got a great feeling about him and I even lazily daydreamed about what it would be like to date someone like that instead of my current partner. we got split up but I hoped I would see him at our gate. nope, no sight of him. eventually it was time to board and I kept thinking "what if he sits next to me 🤔🤔." I see my row coming up and there he is! we were both shocked. anyway, it's a 7 hour long flight. we have nothing to do but talk to each other. I learn that he ticks every box on a list of qualities I wrote out for my ideal partner. even stuff like 'wears sunscreen.' he's also an award winning athlete, has won world records to raise money for charity, owns his own business, very tall -- basically stuff that I wouldn't even think to ask for but absolutely love! I'll mention things and he'll pull out his journal to show an entry where he wrote about the same topic/place/idea. he offers me his shirt when I mentioned I was cold 🥺and when I struggle with what to choose for dinner he gets the opposite thing from me so that I can try both and decide which I want! what a sweetie. anyway, by the end of the flight, we both acknowledge there's a connection there. unfortunately we live in two different countries, and I was still with my partner. so I said I would have to break up with him first as I had already wanted to do, and move to the place I was from (and where he had already planned on moving to). we texted a bit but in trying to break up with my partner, my SO ended up changing significantly for the better. I thought I should give him the benefit of the doubt, and things ended up getting messy as I was being pulled in two different directions and didn't have a clear vision or sense of self. we lost touch. I still think about him almost daily. I'm still in my relationship, which, while better than it was, I know isn't ideal or helping me grow. I'm trying to make my way back to where I'm from and where me and this guy were planning on meeting up, and seeing if lightning strikes twice. 💘 but your story is beautiful and feels divinely inspired. I hope to get the same one day.

I just came from the condo tour, did a little stalking, and stumbled upon this gem. What a beautiful love story! I’m at a point in my life where I haven’t been in a relationship, and it’s partially because I feel like true/pure romance is rare, but seeing this story has put a bit of faith in me, so thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing your story with us! It is so interesting to see where our paths in life take us. My husband and I knew right away that we were meant to be together too. We got engaged 6 weeks after meeting and got married 4 weeks after that. Some of my family members were concerned but it all worked out great! We are still together after 21 years! You and Tim make a very nice couple!
