first of thank you for asking this question, and the answer will surprise you. second of all, sure i will check her channel too. Answering your question is very simple but you need to understand that I am not a scholar and no expert, but my answer is pretty much an average muslim can answer. 😊 this permission of marrying more than one, is not applicable on everyone, and even if is applicable on some people, its a personal decision and there are no forcing in this. Also if it was applicable on some men, and those men wants to take this decision, the wife has the right to disagree. The question is why there is such a privilege . This privilege is actually to benefit the women and not the men. Are you surprised yet? I will tell you why! In many societies, after wars, women become widowed as they lose their husbands at wars, and they dont have a man to take care of their orphans, and the society is always brutal to them as they no longer have protection, same goes with divorced women, once they lose their protection there are no one is taking care of them, and everyone wants to marry virgins and young girls. also in some countries, the populations of women is double the populations of men. if every man on earth will get marry, there are huge number of women which are double the number of men, the have no man at all, and they will never ever get marry. not to mention there are so many gays now, so the number of men will marry is even lower than population of males, because not all males will get marry because of the gay thing. Islam is trying to a system to protect those number of women, which terms and condition, however the human being or the man always find his way to abuse the system, but the truth is, they system was created to protect those women. if all the requirements are met, still the man needs to meet another criteria, such as, he need to be fair with them financially, physically, and mentally, so it is not easy to just to marry another woman. and it is actually up to 4 wives only, but like i said, it is not just a random decision. there is system was able to find a solution for this problem, and everyone is ignoring it. the results out of this is, many women unfortunately became a public property that men abuse, like women became hookers, or those became lesbians, and the disasters continue. The topic is even deeper than this, but these are the basics. I hope I was able to address your question properly, and God bless you. 😊 oh by the way I dont have anyone in my family who married more than one, and actually I dont know anyone in Egypt who is married more than one, because its is not really common in society, we only see this in movies.

I also married a Filipino. She reverted to Islam n now we hv 3 children. Although we didnt live in Philippines but we stil maintain a house in Las Pinas and we will go back once a year to celebrate Christmas n New Year with her family.
