So beautiful. Really grateful for another tutorial on how you mix your swipe consistency. Thank you so very much! You are so creative and fantastic artist. Laying here trying to relax. When I got home from the EMG test where I was prodded, electric shocked and stuck with needles trying to figure out which nerve was causing the drop foot. When I got home, went to step up on the stoop and my foot dropped and caught on the stoop causing me to fall. Hurt my back, foot, knees, hands, wrists and bounced my chin off the hot rocks as well, snapping my head back. I Feel like I have been beat with a bat. Man I cannot catch a break. But, you know, this too I shall somehow survive. Cross your fingers. 💕🤗💕

I have watched for ever and the more I see the less I know! LOL! I got the color mixing down thanks to this last video...thank you! You are a great teacher and have mastered your technique! Now...1. Did you mix anything into your base color? Can I use "any" paint for a base? 2. Is your base paint the same recipe for swipe and Dutch Pour? And again, what is that? I probably missed the info somewhere...... 3. IF and when do you use a cell activator? I am going to make this happen...just need all the correct "parts/recipe" and maybe just a sprinkle of your talent! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KZbin!
@COZCreationsArt2 жыл бұрын
Peggy I do not use cell activators. My cells are created by the different paint densities. The base coat has the same pouring medium as my swipe colors. 50% Floetrol 50% liquitex pouring medium. You can use what ever paint you want for your base coat. I don’t do many Dutch pours. The paint consistency is usually thinner for a Dutch pour then a swipe.
@peggydurdin3832 жыл бұрын
@@COZCreationsArt I CAN NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! I only want to do swipes and by everything including the base paint being all the same consistency I can do that! What a great place for me to start...and grow from here. And "they" say you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

How do u get your cells? Do u use Aussie floetrol or US floetrol or silicone??? You are very talented and a great teacher but I would be grateful to know that answer . Also do you ever mix paints for the bloom technique and if so do u have a video for that? Also does the liquitex pouring medium have any poly in it like color art polypour?

Hello Brandi. No silicone. Not a fan of mixing paint and oil. I sometimes use Aussie Floetrol. The cells are created by the different paint densities. One paint sinks and the other rises to the top. There is a video a ways back that explains this. It’s called How to get mega cells
