HEY FRIENDS!!! THANK YOU FOR JOINING ME FOR THIS JOURNAL FLIP THRU VIDEO!!! This video was highly requested (and so so sorry it took so long to finally post!). BUT I wanted to show you how I modern day scrapbook my iPhone photos! I think this is a fun artsy craftsy way to remember all your favorite memories from the past year!

I am 70 years old and have been making traditional scrapbooks for years - and love every one of them. I was searching for ideas on making childhood scrapbooks of my two grown daughters. I have thousands of pictures of them from birth to having children of their own. It's definitely overwhelming. I'm going to take some of your fabulous modern ideas and create a scrapbook that I believe my daughters will love. I thoroughly enjoyed flipping through the pages of your books. I don't know you but your personality and passion for life showed through. It is refreshing to see a young girl who is proud to show her faith and love of God. To the person who commented that you needed to flip more slowly, just go to settings and slow the speed. I have one suggestion for you - include names of your friends. You think you will remember but 50 years from now many of their names will be a faded memory.

Wow I’ve been doing this for years and never knew it was a thing for other people. Another thing I’ve used is old books, especially ones that have meaning to the memories. We called them Alter Books. Alter however you please, rip out pages and add in new stuff, make specific art pages & all, they get pretty thick. It’s so fun going through all of the saved items & pairing them with photos. I’m excited to save them not just for myself but for friends and my kids to look at one day

I love your journals and I love to see a young person making scrapbooks in your own way. They're perfect. You've inspired me to make a new scrapbook journal with all my tickets and papers this year :) I am not a young person any more, lol. I've been making different kind of scrapbooks and albums for more than 20 years. It's the best thing to be able to flip back through your life and share memories with your family. I hope you keep making them and stick to your unique style - don't let other people tell you what a journal or a scrapbook "should" be. OK, sorry, enough old lady wisdom!

Your make up looks really good. Cute grown up hairstyle. I get all kinds of scripture verses and cute quotes off Facebook. I bought a cannon mini printer. The paper is awesome it turns your pictures into stickers. I can put them in Journals, Bibles! 😊

Ohhh I love your album..it’s very trendy like a junk journal but not so grungy. I love it, you did a great job! I work in 12x22 traditional albums but I’m going to revisit this video again and maybe try it for a shorter trip album. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now. Do I go all out and use acid free everything? Well, even if you don’t, you can scan the pages, just to be sure. You can share some pages digitally with people you shared the memories with. And maybe they would like the original photo files too? If you scan the pages, you’re not as constrained with the materials you use,

Olga Sevastian Modern photography technology has come so far in recent years. Photos printed today are projected To last at least 150 years. Pictures like to be cared for in the same way people do-avoid harsh temperatures, keep them comfortable and store them in a safe place. Never laminate a photo. Photos need to breathe. ❤️
