Awesome progression. It made me smile when you stated the potential problems with flaps 40. Thanks for documenting your training - it's fun to watch.

I just asked my A&P if it was cool and he said he didn't care (he's also a partial owner in the plane). Super sketch suction cup mount worked for me. It's made for race cars so I figured it might be fine. :-P

Love the tail view, just don't over rotate...lol The wing cam is such a great view. 40 degrees on the go around, wow lots of pressure. The 152 they limited it to 30. 4000 sq inches of flap makes for a a slow approach. Enjoyed it.

lol theres a video of someone tail striking with a Gopro on the tail lol intresting view for sure Looks like your Cessna is about as bone stock as they get do you have ADSB out? as for night flying its as close to legally IFR flying you will get without busting a reg cause on a moonless night out of summerville or in florida your on instruments the whole time

Yep. ADS-B out.

@Tommyflies3 жыл бұрын
It’s the natural progression. Just don’t sell your PPG gear to get a plane. You NEED both. 🤙
@joecombes19643 жыл бұрын
@@Tommyflies could never sell that. its the love of my life.

I have a commercial certificate...I just got a great deal for a 150G for my house...my tip is just do 20 flaps most of the time cause if you get a gust of wind it won't mess with you as much...and if you have to do a go around with trees ahead you will sweat less

The plane is helping me get back to fundamentals and do reps affordablly

The school where I used to be an instructor had a policy that 20 deg flaps would be used for landing on all of their Cessnas (152, 172, 182) unless it was the short field landing maneuver (landings on actual short fields were not allowed on their planes). I agree that flaps 20 works great.
