You will have to learn test automation. Doing both will give you more career stability and growth.

Good informative video. What im confused with is that. I save the same amount of money in India what you mentioned in the video. And I believe, I can even switch to a job that pays 30LPA. I understand and appreciate the benefits like quality of life and work life balance. Still considering the low cost of living In India, i dont know if switching to Germany will be a downgrade in life or not.
@ich-bin-berlinerКүн бұрын
The video mentions lowest starting TAKE HOME salary as 30 LPA and the gross salary would be around 54-55LPA. You are comparing it with a 30 LPA gross salary I guess? No body stays on lowest and starting salary forever right? If you make 85k euros then your take home salary is roughly around 47-48 LPA. Plus yearly bonuses. You can do the math if this is a downgrade or not. The standard of living for the expense you do, cannot be compared with India.

@@ich-bin-berliner I was comparing it with making 30L here in India as a developer. Even though I wanna move to Germany, so many friends of mine are telling me not to do that, just because how easy life is here in India with that income and the ability to save a lot and travel abroad. Thats why Im confused. Still I agree that the std of living cannot be compared.

If money and savings are your only deciding factors, I might not be the best person to guide you. I left India even when I was making USD 5K per month from Upwork + my salary. Our priorities seem very different. I wish you best with your plans 😊

I think you will need to scale some experience before making the big jump. But may be you can try the masters from Germany. That is another easy way.

How did you learn API testing if there any KZbin channel for that
@ich-bin-berliner3 ай бұрын
I didn’t learn much from KZbin. All from collaboration with devs. You can read more about REST, microservices in general and how Spring works to write really focused Api test cases. RestAssured is your friend.

Hi, i'm an Automation tester (Selenium +Java) with 2 years of experience; i'm actively applying to German companies ; what salary shall I ask ? Thanks.
@ich-bin-berliner5 ай бұрын
@mallappanvelmurugan4301 Hey, Totally depends on companies and range. You can ask them about the range and be flexible about it. You are still a fresher in automation experience. Besides, if you ask too high, they might not consider and at the same time min salary must be where you will get Blue Card.

I might just help you with resume and some tips. Don’t end up paying any consultants any amount. There are many scammers who are charging money and they can NOT help anyone.
