Heres my theory, and its not just a shot in the dark. We start out with healthy bodies as kids. As we grow we put all sorts of crap into our stomachs, and we continue to do this. Some of us do this and dont exercise. We may also consume alcohol. All these things ive stated make it harder on your digestive system for filtering out the bad things. My theory is that as we sit inside , constantly consuming the same bad things over and over again, that these things begin to work there way to our skin. And this is where skin problems start. Think of the skin problem as an external symptom of an internal root issue. Putting on these potions and lotions and creams on you is a bandaid, and it was also prolong the healing process due to withdrawal symptoms. We need to focus on our diet. Step 1 is diet, cut out all the bad things she posted above and add sugar to that list. Eat only fruits veggies meats water for a a long time, rob stuarts youtube can help. Step 2 is cleansing, remeber how i said thatt these things build up in our bodies over time and we struggle to rid them fast enough. This is where we need to water fast and intermittent fast each day as well. at first these are hard but now i do them with ease. and i notice results in my skin inflammation reducing within one day. There are other ways to cleanse, some more tricky so remeber rob stuarts youtube can help, hes the red head dude with the beard, i am not in any way affiliated with him either just spreading knowledge. anyways Step 3 is exercise, movement! daily ! and not just 20minutes then back to the couch. you need to sweat like a mofo at least once every day, i do morning and night but usually once a day. This will speed up the detox process, as well as clear your skin out from the bottom up, sweating at first may suck itll sting and get irritated but over time as your diet and cleansing go hand in hand, you will see massive improvements. Last thing is Step 4 Many of us have taken antibiotics which may be a cause of skin disorders. so i take probiotics. im taking Skinesa, also i am not affiliated with skinesa, but anyways apparently its the shit. its only 4 strains but the strains are designed to work together, also its been tested with very very solid results. This will help you breakdown and digest food, as well as restore the natural balance of bacteria, and its been said that it can repair the gut lining. so, bottom line here is you need a lifestyle change. Focus on internal healing and you will see external healing. It may take time, some time frames different for one person then the other. Once you start noticing improvements the light will click in your head.
@wendy_online4 жыл бұрын
you make some very valid and interesting points! i agree focusing on healing internal factors is super important (unless it's triggered by external/environmental factors of course). i notice now that if i am not taking care of what i put in my body my skin flares up!

Dropped six prescription drugs I was supposed to be on for life. This included steroid creams I was on for over a decade. How did I do it? Cut out processed sugar and processed foods out of my diet. My diet consists of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, natural beverages and meat twice a week. I also lost 40 pounds. Have been living like this for nine years. Prescription drugs only treat symptoms, they do not get to the root problem. The pharmaceutical industry is trying to turn people into life customers not heal disease. Research this out, you will find that prescription medication are not DESIGNED to cure anything.

I had a very similar experience with topical steroids. I first used this mixed cream prescribed from the pharmacy and it was a mixture of 3 different topical steroids. I first used it in 2015 and it made my skin so perfect I was so happy. I suffered from extremely dry skin on my face and I used it as a daily moisturiser when I definitely shouldn’t have. I figured later down track that i couldn’t go without it. I noticed if I wasn’t using it for more than 3 days, I’d have such a strange flare up on my face. It looked like an allergic reaction and because of that fear of flaring up, I continued to use it for over 5 years (2019) and I’d tell myself I’d stop using it but it was impossible. It was so bad and it sounds so dramatic but I honestly couldn’t stop using it. Anyway by 2019 I used it less and by 2020 I have completely stopped using it and I’m super happy about it. Moral of the story. Apply as directed by your physician. Don’t abuse it. And most certainly don’t use it on your face.

definitely!!! I'm glad to hear that your skin is going better now. I wish there was more education around steroid use and the fingertip method since we can sometimes get a bit too heavy-handed with application.

Hey girl, just a side note: I saw that you put another cream on top of your biologi serum, but this can decrease the potency of the serum. What you can maybe do is to put the serum on your face, then wait at least 5 minutes and then put the biologi rosehip oil on top of it. This really hydrates the skin! I’m using biologi for over a year now and like you also said in the video, it positively changed my skin for good! I also use the bf serum on my eczema but since I did not cut of any foods yet, I still have really bad flare ups but I notice that the serum does help in decreasing the itchiness etc.
@wendy_online4 жыл бұрын
heya! thanks for your comment and suggestions :) i no longer use biologi anymore but at the time when my skin was most irritated comfort was key, and for me applying another cream afterwards helped soothe it since biologi did make it feel a bit sticky/itchy for 15 mins or so after application (even if it meant decreasing the potency hehe). so happy to hear that your skin is feeling better, I hope it continues to heal more and more each day

Thank you for your video, Wendy! Very helpful! I remember my mum bringing this white cream home and it worked... then it didn't. lol! But thank goodness it went away by the time I started high school. She still let me eat eczema triggering foods when I was little, especially prawns. Hubby and I are eczema kids so it is unfortunate that it has passed down to our son! Argh! Initially when my son had an eczema patch on his face at a few months old (and battling eczema spots now at 5yrs old), we started out with topical steroids (Advantan then Cortic DS 1%) because the Drs at the Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital highly recommended it. Thank goodness I am always against using topical steroids just in case he gets withdrawal/addiction from it and also skin thinning. The topical steroids did not work btw as the eczema either doesn't go or comes back raging worse than before. My mum actually found this cracked heel cream (Not Scholl... and is only available overseas... *cries*) that actually worked on the itch and his eczema. Unfortunately though, his eczema keeps coming back even if the cream always clear the patches. He had a very bad flare up when he was 2+ years old... he looked like a burn victim with oozy, weepy eczema all over. The "cracks" were very visible on his skin especially his face. He would sleep scratch and wake up with bloody clothes. Drs recommended topical steroids. Again. Every time. I didn't like the idea of "bleach bath" and the QV bath oil did jack all. Frustrating!! So I Dr. Googled (not always recommended!!) as the last resort to see if there is an alternative... Epsom Salt bath with a few drops of Lavender Essential oil. It stung my poor baby like hell but his skin started improving and healing 2 days later without any use of topical steroids. We still give him warm Epsom Salt baths (with a bit of Dettol in it instead of Lavender E oil if there's broken skin) at least once a week, twice if his eczema flares up. Then moisturise with QV cream and the Dermaveen Eczema ointment on the really dry spots/cracked skin. We still use the cracked heel cream but I hope to wean him off that with a better diet instead. Every time his skin improves, something would trigger the eczema. This time when we started using the heater (in Melbourne), his skin flared up really bad. >< He also refuses to eat veggies... >

@wendy_online4 жыл бұрын
heya! yes i think biologi do not recommend layering a cream since it could water it down, but for me biologi did make my skin feel a bit itchy/sticky for ~15 mins or so after application so i really had to do whatever I could to control the itch for that time period (no point in applying something if it will just irritate your skin!). I treat biologi like I would any other serum and would always layer a moisturiser on over the top but it depends on your own skin :) I hope your skin has healed and feels better!
