I opened my salon when I was 21 back in 2000 And it cost 💲 me $15,000 And I had monthly rent of $800 As you explained cost of keeping a salon space is very helpful for other stylist looking to expand !!! First, congrats on saving up $60,000 for your new salon. I know people twice your age or older (me included) that have a hard time putting $100 aside, let alone 60 grand. I am writing a paper on the challenges of opening up a new salon or running an existing one and your video was insightful. Need more young people with your work ethic and financial acumen. Having a suite was a lot of fun but I ran out of space really quickly.. and it became hard to grow (no space for other stylist or assistant) definitely consider your options! Wish you the absolute best in your career♥️ feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Wow $1900 for rent is so cheap compared to renting a space that size in NYC. Im a hairstylist in Nyc and rent for a space like yours would be 10k a month. Good for you in your success!!
