How I organise my Ikea PAX wardrobe & vanity (functional but also kinda cute ✧(◕‿◕✿)

Welcome to laundry day! In this vlog I give you a tour of our wardrobe and how I organise it. I also created a little "hidden vanity" section at the end of our wardrobe. I don't do my makeup very often, and always stand in front of the mirror to do it anyway, so I thought a regular vanity table would be a waste of space. Hiding everything in my wardrobe makes it look so much cleaner and organised, and I have so much storage space! :D

I love this. The rental I just moved into has an amazing deep rectangular alcove area which I’m slowly figuring out how to maximise use of and make into a closet. Right now I have open rails (vertical tension rods) but it wastes a lot of space at the top so really I think I need something like PAX to make the most of the space. I love how everything is organised - a lot of these things for me are in random places in my home (I keep sunglasses stored with candles in the living room - why? No idea but that’s where they live) but I want things to “flow” a bit better and this has inspired me a lot. The struggle I’ve had is finding furniture that’s solid and not ugly - I’m not a huge fan of ikea as I hate veneer and the drawer bottoms always bend eventually, but now having seen some of your videos (like the bathroom one especially) I feel like there could be a solution involving a little bit of DIY but that’s still rental friendly (the other issue is the stairways up to my apartment are extremely narrow so pretty much we have to get flat pack furniture so solid pieces are a challenge). Somehow even though a lot of people use PAX this wardrobe organisation video seems so much more realistic and logical and thoughtful. Well done!
