Yes Sarra - a video on how you do calendar blocking/theme days would be awesome! The tip that resonated with me the most is knowing what I want in life. I'm writing some notes on my ideal life today. Thank you.

I know this video is about a year old, but wanted to let you know how useful I’m finding your videos. Thank you for all the fantastic information you’re putting out there. I have a bit too much going on right now, but as soon as I complete my next goal, should be within the next 6 months I’m planning on taking one of your boot camps. With all the solid information you put out there, I know it will be well worth it.

A calendar blocking and theme days video would be helpful. But the big question: What do I want out of life? Hmmm. Focus. I want--I need focus. Great video. Thanks!

I've been using a kanban board for the last two quarters (inspired by you!) and narrowed down what I want my writing career (on top of my full-time job/career as a librarian) to be, and learned to prioritize with that 90 day plan - my life is much less stressful when it comes to writing and all that comes along with it. There are so many opportunities and so much to choose from and it is so easy to get distracted by what is NOT part of my larger plan - and so much easier to say no with that 90 day plan and establishing priorities. I get more done, feel more successful, and don't feel so overwhelmed - most of the time!

Love the video Sarra. It's so clear how passionate you are and how you truly care when you share your tips. I resonated a lot with tip 1 about having a clear vision of what we desire and tip 5 making me time. It can definitely be hard as a mom with a full time to find me time in general but hearing your advise and knowing you've done it give me hopes that I too can accomplish to better manage my time. On that note, it would be lovely to see a video on how you personally block your time and chose themes for your days. Crossing my fingers that we see that soon.

Great video! We all need to create that action plan and then to follow it. There were two things here that I really liked. The first was the reminder to plan quarterly. I tend to plan too much or to not plan at all. Quarterly seems like a nice pace. The second thing that I personally found really helpful was to set three goals. I always get started and plan too many and too much... I need to get better at this. Thanks Sarra!

Firstly, congratulations on your upcoming new family addition, Sarra! I appreciate the way you convey such useful insights in a down-to-earth and relatable way. While your videos instill an eager desire to close KZbin and employ your ideas, I never find myself doing that, knowing there's another useful nugget of wisdom waiting with your next thought. I really loved the way you explained your planning/organizing process and resonated with my "7 Habits" experience from earlier days before my writing life kicked into gear. Be Proactive, Begin With the End in Mind, Put First Things First, and Sharpen the Saw all align so well with your thoughts and I sincerely appreciate the writer's slant to each of these that makes me feel as though I'm coming home. Best wishes over the next several memorable months, and looking forward to more heart breathings from you as your latest subcriber ;-)

I like how you say you're blocking your time. I think I might try that starting next week to see if I get anything else done. I've been trying to off and on, but it's hard to do with my boyfriend's BFF staying here with us temporarily so she wouldn't end up on the streets with her husband. Long story, we'll just leave that there. I'd also love to do your course, but I've got no way to pay for it unless it's sometime in June because of the way my student aide comes in. I'm still learning a LOT from you even though I can't do the course right now. Also, I think I said this already, but congrats on the baby.

Thanks for the tips! On a previous video you mentioned having a notebook for manifesting. Would love for you to do a video on how you set that up and how those things have manifested. Instead of a notebook I bought a planner to plan what I want to manifest. Interested to see your take on it. 💞💞💞💞💞

Thank you so much for posting these videos. I swear we are exactly alike except you are where I want to be in ten years. It feels so good to hear the things you have to say and I am taking every bit of your advice to heart when I think about what I'm doing as a writer and a person. Also, thank you for hosting a bootcamp where I can learn even more about how to become a more productive writer. I will be looking forward to reading your work and seeing how your words have changed me for the better as time goes by. Also, I just got back from North Carolina which is apparently pretty close to you and I just want to say that I think it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The mountains are beautiful! Maybe I'll move there one day and I can meet you for kicks and giggles. Do you have any signed copies available?

As always, I enjoyed this video! I recently watched your Time Tracker video and I would love to know more about scheduling theme days. I think in my mind everything falls under "content creation/writing" and then I mix-up that with "content marketing" which blends in with "marketing." Have you ever heard men are waffles (compartmentalized) and women are spaghetti (everything is connected)? I know that's not true across the board, but I am SO SPAGHETTI! Would love some help on this - lol!

OMG but that calender gave me hives. I like the idea of time blocking and even a basic calender, but for me, I'd be happier with just writing in "deal with ads" and then having a folder where I have all my ad stuff and not have to hit in the face of all that stuff. Not only does it probably take you half an hour to fill that thing out, but it's just overwhelming. I'm glad it works for you, but it's not my thing.
