With fdm printing you dont need to consider weight reduction as much especially at this size as STL files are just the outside surfaces of the model and picking an appropriate infil does this. I find adaptive cubic the best. Id add some filets and chamfers to the model to improve aesthetics and reduce the stress concentrations in 90° corners. You ever considered using solidworks? Nice work though. Just subbed.

the funny thing is it usually does the opposite, as you add more walls

I put a wedge on my skadis hooks so they lock in to the mount with no glue needed
