Thanks a lot Veronica! I love everything you share with us and let me tell you every day I understand more and more your speech without using subtitles. I’m currently reading “thirteen reasons” and I already read Charlotte’s web and the house on mango street all recommended by you, and you don’t know, how they have helped me to improve my lenguage skills, and now I’ll write down these other three books on my list. Thanks again!

I overcome this fear in my previous work environment in Dubai, there were different nationalities and English is the only common way to communicate, and each nationality has their own English slang and some grammar mistakes, so why not accepting my slang and mistakes and try to fix it while speaking 😅👍

Here are my two cents. Ever since I started studying English ot should I say reading English, I was curious about memorizing long texts in English not just because someone's told me but because I just wanted profoundly and I remember back in the day I would recite it to the teacher and she was flabbergasted and because of her genuine belief I was doing it more and more. From the ages of 10 to to 15 I was just reading English and learned the texts by heart and little did I knew that I only knew a few words to translate in Ukrainian, but more surprisingly is that when someone were telling me something in Ukrainian I would instantaneously said it in English. By the age of 18 until now I was having dreams in Engliah and not just a couple of words but some dialogues I was so thrilled. I could've started the KZbin channel but as far as I'm concerned with the fact that everything I could possibly think of has been at some point released and published by KZbinrs, and I feel like I'm upstaged or maybe it's just a second-guessing, anyway it's not the point, all of these advices are good but all the individuals who are learning English have to learn how their gut are telling them to do because of the miscellaneous backgrounds we're originating from. Each of us has a different story and many of us are tempted to learn English or any other language ASAP but let me tell you if you would even have a C2 level at English do you think you wouldn't have had enough to learn. I was working in pizzeria by a waiter and I had a curious accident and I did inadvertently but it seemed like it was on purpose. So, one day the guy from America have visited our place with his 12 Chinese friends and he was telling me all the entries he'd like to pick and order so the order then came in no time everything was great, they were satisfied and stuffed, however at some point he approached to me and said could you please give me an invoice? And I was like yeah no problem. ... I came back in the kitchen and was talking to myself what is INVOICE? So I gave him the bill instead and then he said no I wanted an Invoice, I was just simply staring at him and said nothing and that was humiliating and derogatory. He then calmly explained me invoice is the same bill but with the signature of the administration or the CEO. And then he left a bit disappointed. .. Nonetheless it is just goes to show that you gotta be humiliated and making public screw ups it'll help you immensely. Also when I was a kid I loved to rhyme a lot so I was making poems for my mother and brother. Additionally, I would do interviews with myself on the topic that I had no idea about, and I didn't even knew what was talking about, the thing is is that it conditions your mind to a lateral thinking
