The first thing I do when I'm getting ready to pack is write down the weather for each day...then make my list. My next tip is to save your packing lists...cause it will be a good start point for your next trip.

Yayyy!!!! I was looking forward to this video. Here's a trick... push as much air out of the ziploc bag as possible and push the zipper almost to the end and if you have any straws use it to suck the rest of the air out. A trick if you don't have a ziploc saver thingy. This same trick could work for freezing meals as well. I HOPE YOU guys have a TON of fun!!!!

Cool tips, thank you. You should make an electronic copy of your list and then you can just print it every time you pack. There are also packing guides online that are free that you can print.

I always make a list. But i always over pack. When we went on our cruise i brought more clean clothes home than dirty..lol. most days were just pool clothes. Have a great time!!!

Love the zip lock bag outfit bags such a great idea, plus little ones are always getting messy so you can throw an extra bag in your backpack as your out and then the dirty clothes go back in the bag and you don't have clean and dirty clothes mixed up !

Super late, and a little bit more expensive but try packing cubes instead of ziplock bags! They're easily squish able and make everything into a rectangle / square shape and they're SO easy to use! I packed for a week long pageant where I literally had 2-3 outfit changes a day using packing cubes (each day had a cube) & they have tons of different sizes but they're so convenient!

You can push out the air in the ziplock bags to compress them(kind of like vacuum bags) saves tons of room!!(:

Packing cubes are great. Like the ziplocks, but stack better, don’t tear & are reusable for years. The rolling toiletries bags that hang in the bathrooms are great & I keep travel stuff in there so there’s not a lot I have to pack or unpack when it comes to shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toothpaste, etc. I’m single & I still think lists are important! Another thing I do is make sure I pack one color scheme where I can mix & match outfits & need fewer shoes. I’ve started leaning toward a capsule wardrobe, which makes that easier. I also take Mio or drink mix packets, and refillable water bottles. Saves a ton and better for the environment!

Great idea about the plastic wrap! My husband uses liquid meds and when we have to travel with them they leak and get all sticky. I'll definitely be using your method next time!!

I used to have to take a ton of medicine and medical items, most airlines have a rule that you can carry a medical ONLY bag and not have to pay to bring an extra carry on.

I used the gallon zip bags too! If you are in a place where you can not wash often or at all, I put their dirty c!other back in the bag. It keeps the smell down. Enjoy your trip! May traveling mercies, fun, and not be yours on this trip. Blessings!
